im glad ppl seem to enjoy the concept/idea behind this au so much. im unfortunately just in the beginning stages of Finals Month but id like to get refs of all the wildcards in their initial plugsuit designs if i can. and also finish the other two pieces of art i have for this au that i posted

if ikutsuki is gendo, how does sees become aware/come into possession of yu? is he involved in paramilitary programmes prior to sees? does the investigation team still appear?

since we have no idea what yus parents do in actual persona canon other than that they both have very well off jobs that keep them super busy i like to imagine that in this setting they were both people who worked under SEES in some form under the tactical branch. obviously yus mom is not in the picture here since to even have an eva you have to have Dead Mom Disorder so yus own father in fact works at SEES so they know of yu through that. but like. outside of that hes just been a normal teen who grew up in the countryside.

hes lived with the dojimas most of his life because of how busy his parents were with their work.

also the IT is like ….sort of there? i imagine that the main cast of each persona team is there but since they hold no real importance to the plot of the au theyre just all side characters

okay swag. SO BASICALLY this isnt the more obvious route i could have taken it where its just like. an exact retelling of eva with persona characters (which like. you could literally just so easily do this with just persona 3. p3 has so many of the same story beats and messages and themes as eva its fucking buckwild)

ive had this au since like before p5 even was like. dropped officially. so its changed slightly since then but in the au all of the wildcards are the children who pilot the evas (wildcards including goro and sho! theyre wildcards too!!) and i have very like. Basic basic bare bones “casting” with obvious divergences in personaly and the like but:

- yu is shinji

- hamuko is rei

- akiren is asuka

- minato is kaworu

- sho is toji

- goro is mari

- naoya (the p1 protag) is misato

- ikutsuki is gendo (its just too perfect)

- sees is nerv (its just too perfect)

- tatsuya is ritsuko

things are obviously very different here like i said. these are like REALLY loose castings bcuz i love to take lots of liberties in my aus to make shit more interesting and flex my creative bones.

anyways yu arrives at SEES and theres already three eva pilots the two third children (minato and hamuko who are “twins” and pilot the two person eva unit 01) and sho (ikutsukis son. this is canon) who pilots eva unit 00. and then the others show (akiren and goro) show up in the same vein as how asuka and mari show up basically. uhhh…….. hamuko and minato live at SEES undergrounds headquarters along with sho meanwhile yu and akiren live with naoya akin to how asuka and shinji live with misato.

uuuUuUuUuUh IM trying to think of what else here. im flexing my brain bones. all plugsuit designs and eva designs are based off of personas but that one is probably super obvious. anyways if you have any more like direct questions abt specific stuff feel free to dump them on me cuz i have an answer for it probably
