She comes out bracing herself for anything but what she gets is this loveliness (and after his apologizing for being a little slow in the morning because he drank yesterday, awww!)

I love this admission btw because yes, it was pretty clear from the Uni days, that he knew she liked him and he liked her, so he encouraged her to chase him and to come forward. And there is nothing wrong with that of course, but the awesome thing is that now he's older and wiser (and healed a bunch), he doesn't see the need for anything so convoluted and if he likes a woman, he will tell her (and this means he's now comfortable with putting himself out there, which is a huge change.)

He's so nervous awwwww. And you can tell he's thought it over and over and is uncertain of his reception...

AAAAA I love her response with no hesitation - he's had so little warmth in his life, how can he NOT be utterly hers when she's nothing but open warmth?

Ahahahaha

I love his little wonder (last time, back in University days, kissed her shortcutting her confession (which was a big step forward for him back then tbh) and then she made it anyway and here he kissed her and then made his own confession the morning after. Progress!)

The way she is so logically detailed about emotional plans is how he is as well.

When she first said that, I almost choked because we all know where my mind went...

But she was discussing practical things...

And his response?! I am DEAD!!!!

And then he proceeds to buy them a house...

And they proceed to register their marriage. Everything just natural and without fuss. This little bit really got me, she's pretty much disowned by her family and his is all dead but they are not alone...
