This is probably unintentional but I find it hilarious how Sang Yan has been moping and brooding and dressing in all black since we first see him on screen. And one kiss from Yifan later he's suddenly dressing in color and wearing, what looks to be, couple outfits in matching colors with her lmao!!! Like the clouds have finally parted a little and let color back into his emo black & white world. Another indication that, even subconsciously, San yan's whole world revolves around Yifan and one word from her can make or break him.

The fact that the first person she tells about it to is Sangyan put a huge smile on my face. She wants to share things happening in her life and around her life with her special person!

Yifan saying "Life is really amazing, isn't it?" is a huge thing and it shows that she is in a quite good headspace right now. Being able to appreciate the blessing of life and simultaneously accepting the inevitability of death and recognizing that our loved ones never really go away from us, as we see during Woodie's funeral scene, is an indicator of the growth that she has gone through since the days of torment eight years ago.
