this is my first time as the older nemeth so hopefully you guys enjoy him.
nic was born and raised in cleveland, ohio as the oldest child in the nemeth household. while he is often proud of the town that he was raised in due to his college alignment and alumni status at ksu - he does not enjoy going home, and often only does it for the sake of his mother because it’s filled with nothing but bad memories for him. it got so bad when he was a teenager that he’d actually attempted running away from home. nobody found him for nine months during the time, but he had eventually came back for the sake of his younger brothers and mom.
he suffers from complex sleep apnea along with depression and anxiety that often manifest in the form of mood swings and anger management issues (both of which he is highly skilled in hiding.) addionally, he suffers from an eating disorder with both anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa traits that has stemmed from his childhood and the practice of cutting weight in his amateur career. due to this, nic has a tendency to over-eat and over-exercise on a regular basis - something that switches to eating none at all and (rarely) purging in times of stress or big pressure situations.
he is a bisexual icon who during pride month raise money for some lgbt cause. any proceeds that he makes off of whatever he makes, he ends up doubling the amount he was donating, inspiring other donors to do the same. he also wears a pride flag bracelet on his wrist, and can be found sporting pride flag patches on his ring gear.
he is also a really big fan of independent wrestling. during the pandemic lockdown, he actually gave money to several indy promotions along with bought merchandise from various wrestlers to help put money in their pockets.
secret: during a drunk night in las vegas, nic made a terrible choice that haunts him more than any adversity he has ever faced before. getting behind the wheel of a car whilst intoxicated should’ve been his warning sign, it should have been where he put a pause to this street race his friend challenged him into doing. he should of never gotten in the car, and called ryan to come pick him up. but he had no choice, in his mind, if he backed out now then that would be an automatic forfeit, which he refused to happen. only, during the race, he ran into a jogger. with panic settling in, and the very thought of another nemeth being in prison, nic made the bold choice to drive away. and it’s an act he has regretted everyday of his life since. it haunts him to know that he did such a thing, and the fact that he doesn’t know if the person survived or not is what kills him the most.
however, despite this situation happening it hasn’t stopped him from getting into another street race or even driving while intoxicated. the events are just rare and few between.
