The cows in MK centre are the original ones! The roadside ones are repros. I'm not sure which ones had a calf stolen and ransomed though...

Ah, I just read they moved them to the city centre in 2007. All makes sense now! (Glad the Bancroft replicas are still there being painted every other weekend!)
