Dark Hand.

Now everything makes sense: how Katie got to the Metroid Realm, how she knows about Master Hand, how she knew how to find Mother Brain, how she discovered Dark Samus and the radioactive fungi known as Phazon.

You led her straight here. Didn’t even need coordinates, because your internal connection to Master Hand led to back to the Metroid Realm. You filled her mind with false dreams and now have poisoned both my universe and the Realms.

Still trying to put together how you managed to open a wormhole and breach into the Realms. Or how you managed to survive the Battle of Final Destination after Master Hand and Crazy Hand crushed you into a ball and sent you hurtling into oblivion.

*After having being dragged for some time, Blujay finds himself once again strapped down and put on ice, but this time blindfolded by some dark binding agent placed over his eyes. He hears the sound of buzzing and whirring as the Spartron Guards fasten him to a metal board, but after about ten minutes, there is suddenly silence. Within minutes, he finds himself able to flutter his eye lids open to even more darkness, realizing that he is left in a pitch black room alone.*

Oh, Master... Please let her be alright. The Kennets will do nothing but plague her mind and torment what’s left of her soul. Sure, as callous and aggressive as she is, there is still goodness in her. She chooses to neglect it and keep it hidden, but somewhere inside of her, there is hope.

*Then, as if it were timed, dim purple lights around the room begin emanating from beneath the floorboards as a hum emits. Blujay’s skin begins to tingle as a dull, burning sensation across his face brings him to the awareness of something in the air.*

Dark energy! How in the universe did Katie get all of this?

*Then, there is a whooshing of some sort in the air as what Blujay can discern as dark particles begin to merge together. Someone, or something, was being formed before him in the room.*

Who are you? Who’s there?

*As Blujay passed, he bowed his head with eyes closed.*

Melchizedek, be with her. Lend her your strength.

*Blujay looks to Katie, then to Samus. A look of rage comes across his face.*

You are going to pay for this, Katie. This isn’t our universe, and now you’ve sent ripples through it out of your sick lust for power. It has a powerful guardian, and it will come and put a swift end to you for tampering with their reality. You couldn’t escape it even if you wanted to.

*Blujay continues straining against the ice.*

(C’mon, Master! Give me something! Anything!)

*But the ice doesn’t crack. He doesn’t even budge. He looks up to Samus, the needle in Katie’s hand prepped to inject the Corruption into her.*

Samus, don't forget who you are. Don’t forget your mission. Don’t forget your goodness.

*Blujay, feeling some sense of strength returning, attempts to break himself free of the ice. He can already feel that, with Samus distracting the Mistress, the material is beginning to thaw. He began brainstorming for possible places where the Archepée could be... since it clearly wasn’t here.*

*Suddenly, the sick feeling that Katie had given it to Mother Brain hit him like a ton of bricks. If she was in possession of that blade, getting his powers back would be a very difficult ordeal.*

*Blujay helplessly watches as the Kennets seem to back Samus into a corner.*

NO! I will not let you do this to her, Katie! Samus, RUN!

*He raises his machine gun to the Kennet crowd to fire whatever ammunition is left.*

*Blujay groans as his leg is locked into place. The bitter cold causes him to grimace for a brief moment, the feeling in his legs still pretty much numb.*

Yep. Should’ve seen that coming too.

*Blujay looks eagerly to Samus, hoping that some morality banter would buy them the extra time they needed to devise one final plan of escape.*

Samus, you know she’s psychotic. Don't buy into her lies.

*Blujay sees the opportune moment he is looking for. With the Behemoths downed and the coast clear, he makes a dash for the Archepée sheathed in the center.*

Alright, Samus, we’re getting out of—

*He tugs on the hilt, but his hand slips from the grip.*

What?

*The Archepée fizzles as the holographic image of his sword vanishes from sight, leaving nothing but a metal pole sticking out of the platform. Blujay shuts his eyes and grits his teeth in embarrassment, in frustration, and in complete and utter shame.*

Dang it, Blujay.

*Blujay peers around the corner and eyes the two Behemoths.*

Dang it... Maybe. I’ll need some cover fire. Behemoths have MASSIVE guns, but they’re slow. If we can disorient them enough by shooting at their eyes, I might have enough time to get through the door...

The Archepée should be on the other side.

*Blujay ponders*

...unless you think you can get there faster than me? I’m not used to wearing this little of armor.

*Blujay raises the smoking machine gun to the ceiling as the three revolving barrels whirr to a halt.*

Punching metal was not my idea of fighting Spartrons, sorry. And I’ve just regained my strength.

Now, where were we?

*Blujay points the weapon down the next hallway, which is clear. He runs to find the next blue door, assuming that Samus is right behind him.*

*Blujay’s smile isn’t creepy, but rather satisfied.*

Thank you. 

*He presses a button on the side of the gun arm, and the three barrels fold outward. A wide, but short red-shard blade shoots out from it. He leaps to his feet.*

This will do.

*The five remaining Spartrons that stand aim at the now visible hero. Blujay leaps at the first one, swinging the blade in a circle before plunging it into the chest. Two Spatrons that are close to him withdraw two of their own blades, and swing down on Blujay. Blujay parries the first, dodges the second, kicks a Spartron away, flips over a third strike, then SHING! stabs the first Spartron into vital circuitry. The second one that was kicked gets up, but before it can shoot Blujay, he reforms the machine gun and fires four bullets into its torso.*

*Blujay raises an eyebrow under the mask.*

Did you get one already? Wow... that was fast.

Real quick: shoot another one for me and grab its gun.

*Blujay groans, but suddenly finds his strength slowing retuning to him.*

Samus, try to take off one of the machine-gun arms of a Spartron... We can use those as weapons. They run off of external batteries.

*Blujay is surprised when Samus picks him up and starts running with him on her shoulder.*

The doors that are unlocked should be shining blue. I programmed them that way when my mind was in the computer. That should lead us to the Archepée.
