thinking about me walking home from the grocery store yesterday and passing an elderly Black lady smoking a cigar and blasting Kendrick (lol).

i gave her the little bit of cash i had on me and told her to get herself something to drink too. i just felt like it idk. while we were talking a white lady walked by; i was in her path on the sidewalk so i excused myself (as one does).

the Black lady then told me i’m too pretty to be talking to strangers which made me laugh.

i wanna say something poignant about seeing myself in other Black femmes but i haven’t had any coffee yet.
