there is a deleted scene (s2ep10) where hannibal and will are discussing will's new experience AND hannibal is making it clear that he didn't join will at his work on randall tier :

AND that does make sense because I've always found hannibal's participation strange --- like he was not saying a single WORD that could compromise him enough and then he did what ? went and made a human craft with will?? --- not logical character development

but in the script we have an amazing scene where manipulative will is manipulating hannubal in so sassy way --- I mean "THE BIRD IS LEAVING THE NEST" ???? are we on the same page? ---- and this is MUCH MORE logical more suitable and more beautiful

and also from this perspective there would be far fewer questions about "poor will being under hannibal's influence"

I mean the boy did it with his own hands and didn't look particularly guilty saying "it was my design"
