we all realize suo is likely one of the tallest in the class specifically to juxtapose it with what's going on now, right? we're not used to him looking so small because he's taller than pretty much the entire main cast in their class except tsuge and sugi. he sticks out in class when there's a shot of everyone together because of it.
another thing I've wondered about for a while. you think about this type of stuff a lot when rping cross-canon and trying to determine how characters would perceive each other.
he's portrayed as larger than life in furin, untouchable. protector and human shield.
now he looks like a little kid playing dress up, it's been a while since we've seen him with everyone but suo isn't exactly short, as the youngest in the class next to sakura. that, like most things in this series, feels very deliberate.
I think many fans (including Skit/Itsk fans) don’t fully grasp what Yuuji was willing to do by asking Sukuna to return to his body. It wasn’t just about giving him another chance; it was about the Jujutsu society once again viewing Yuuji as a threat that needed to be eliminated. Had Sukuna accepted Yuuji’s offer, Yuuji might never have lived a peaceful life and would always be viewed with disdain and suspicion.
But Yuuji was more than willing to go through all that for Sukuna, which is precisely why he said: “Even if no one else accepts you, I will live with you” (which can also be translated as: “Even if no one else accepts you yet, YOU STILL HAVE ME”)
Because Yuuji knew what awaited him if he became Sukuna’s vessel again, and yet none of that mattered to him, he simply wanted him back to live a new life together, and that is so beautiful and moving, and I still can’t believe it’s canon ❤️❤️😭😭😭
I can't believe that it's canon, too dear anon :")) there are so many things about yuuji’s choice of wanting to keep sukuna w him that till this days leaves me… completely stunt lol yuuji was willing to, in a sense, go against the world to let sukuna live or rather stay w him. I’d say his decision very much parallels megumi’s decision to want to keep yuuji’s alive.
“I didn’t save you… because it was the logical thing to. I didn’t want to see a good person, no matter how dangerous, die. I did have to think about it. In the end, it was a selfish and emotional decision.”
“Sukuna… let’s try one more time. Not to curse someone, but to live with someone. Even if no one else accepts you, I alone can live on with you.”
what gets me the most about this ✨parallel✨ is that megumi did end up suffering, because of his decision. yuuji ended up going through unimaginable horrors, because of his own decision too (consuming sukuna), and yet despite all that he still asked sukuna to live with him. not because to was a logical thing to do, but because of his own selfish, emotional reasons... and YET, despite sukuna not taking him up on his oh-so-benevolent offer, yuuji still ended up miserable, and isn’t that just ironic??
tbh I don’t think yuuji ever minded the danger, in a sense, and because of his abnormal strength, he craved it, but more than that he just didn’t want to be lonely.

yuuji was the only one who could live with sukuna, but then sukuna was the only one who could live and die with yuuji.
