Concept for sonic movie 4!

In short: Stone becomes the antagonist but metal sonic is the final boss. Stone feels like his work is incomplete and feels responsible for the doctors death so he searches for the time stones. Metal becomes infuriated at the end believing such a task is so menial for what the time stones are capable of and steals the stones in the end and becomes neo.

Ya know, I'm watching the Jim Carrey Grinch movie and like, I'm not at all surprised he ended up playing Robotnik? Like a big part of his character is how intelligent an engineer/mechanic/etc he is? Like he builds insane machines with literal trash.

Now I'm just imagining a Robotnik without the government fucking who builds the *ugliest* machines ever because he's having to scavenge materials from junkyards and trash heaps. Stone of course is still his #1 fanboy/cheerleader/minion. But the aesthetic ends up more mad max than office attire in style.

First of all I love that movie. It came out a few months before I was born so I watched it at least once a year since then and little me was obsessed. Obsessed, I tell you! I could quote almost all of it at some point (in Spanish, because obviously baby Aixa wasn't insisting on watching the sub instead of the dub back then)

As for that whole aesthetic, I like to think that's what Robotnik's inventions looked like before he started working for the government. He just collected scraps and made do. And now he puts a lot of effort into the aesthetic part of his inventions because HE CAN and because he's STYLISH.

I think if he still has that whole thing going on, he might be a bit embarrassed by it, but Stone would be amazed as always!
