So get this.
This saturday was prom, and I had a double date with my friend Kenzie. Matt made the reservations so it was a complete surprise to us when we ate at this super swanky riverside restaurant that had the best crab bisque ever o m g. Anyway, so after we had this fantastic cake, we're all just waiting for the check to come by. Instead, the waitress comes over and tells us "You're free to go, if you guys want, that gentleman over there with the wine bottle on his table just paid for your bill". So we all look at eachother and just think, "wait what just happened? Do we go now? We should go thank him." Jisang, kenzie's date, was extremely shocked at the hospitality since that sort of thing doesn't happen in korea. We went to leave and we thanked the man and his wife for paying our bill, to which he replied "Oh, don't thank me, you'll need that money later! You kids have a good time". His wife gushed over Kenzie and I's outfits and hair and how we all looked so sophisticated sitting at the table. I never expected something like that to happen, especially considering the economy we have right now. It was a lovely way to start off our senior prom. <3 . . . and I should update this thing more. ~Whoops!!~
