 Pea was bitter. He was always surrounded by his Serpents. Now he was alone and when she brought up being alone he felt a ridged reminder of his family not being seen. “Yeah, same here. I don’t know, that sounds weird. I mean, the little game was weird, what my dad was doing was odd and evil...but this? This looks like magic or something, sounds strange but...I don’t know, maybe we are just crazy and we are dreaming, maybe that can be it or that’s what I’ve been telling myself lately to not go out of my mind.”

   Diamond wasn’t really paying attention to her surroundings, she was completely in her own thoughts about what shoes to buy. The same pair that fell apart after three weeks of work or a new pair that definitely more durable but costs more money? “Yeah,” she answered out of instinct when a voice had asked her a question. She assumed she was being spoken to; she hoped she was being spoken to, so she wouldn’t look ridiculous answering a question. She looked at the shoes in the girl’s hand and her eyes widened in awe. “They’re, uh, gorgeous, actually. You should definitely get them.”

Within just a year alone he managed to function while high, and the situation they are in hasn’t changed anything. “I trust your words.” He decided to drink from the cup rather than the straw. Pea was still, in a daze. Nothing made sense. He had been in Sunny side one second, passing through tent city, and then in some other trailer park the next. And to wrap his head around everything he just couldn’t think of how the hell any of this worked and found that he wound up in the old pub. His eyes fell right to the familiar face of Veronica. Not that they had ever been close, and mostly avoided back home unless Jughead was wrapping him up to do a job for the girl, it was the one person he knew. “Don’t understand what?” He finally asked wondering who exactly she was talking to.

(¸.• ♛ → “Nothing, it doesn’t matter.” It was something not worthless to tell, besides, right now she has more important things to ask. “I thought I was alone here, you are the only familiar face I’ve seen.” And now she was feeling less worry but still a bit for everything, she couldn’t help it, all of this was weird. “I have no idea how this happened, I’m trying to adjust, obviously but I don’t get how this is even possible, I mean, how this can happen, Riverdale was odd but not this odd.”

(¸.• ♛ → “So...” The girl began, working in this place wasn’t that bad, this pub never was but some costumers were just way too annoying. “...do you know what you are going to order?” Veronica asked to the guy that was just there with a small smile, always trying to be polite, even if in her head right now everything was just a mess thinking about how this is possible, about being here and all.

(¸.• ♛ → What she did was for the best, putting her dad behind bars was something she thought that she was never going to do but she did it and there is no regret, at least for now it can’t be. However, now being here, honestly, she feels a bit off, she is not sure why exactly but everything in her head is just a bit of a mess. And she wasn’t there for anyone’s bullshit, that’s why when this guy was trying to hit on her, she honestly just exploded when he grabbed her, so she just gave him a small kick but good enough for him to leave her alone. “Some people just don’t understand...” She muttered, now taking a sip from her drink, being maybe here on the pub can help a bit, she wasn’t working right now so that’s a good thing, she can at least relax.

☆ﾟ*・ﾟ┊camila mendes, she/her + 18, cis female┊❝ isn’t « veronica lodge » totally tubular looking? they seriously remind me of a character from « riverdale ». i started seeing them at « hideaway pub » a few « days » ago, humming to the tune of « material girl + madonna » when they think no one’s looking. also, they’re like totally known as the « fashionista » of town, so i’d keep my eye on them. seriously. ❞ (swan, 21, she/her, est)

basically veronica is set up to date from he show, she put her dad behind bars, and her mom is not really here so now she’s living alone but she’s trying just to do her best and working in the hideaway pub for the time being, everything legal, of course. 

she’s very smart and good with her friends, always is like that and right now the girl is very upset about what happened but she knew that she needed to do what she needed to do, sadly her parents weren’t really good people, especially her dad so that’s why she doesn’t regret that.

now being here, she’s way too confused about being just in this place, she has been like here for a few days now but she feels something is very off, but she’s not sure really what exactly, or at least for now, since she doesn’t know about magic. She’s adjusting though.
