WELCOME TO BMCBLR REMAKE!!

bmcblr remake is a non profit, complete remake of the one and only be more chill right here on tumblr dot com! everything from instrumentals to singing to drawings will all be done by us, so i do mean COMPLETE remake. the finished project will be released to the public, most likely on youtube! all started by the mass enabling of @sea-jello's shower thought shitpost thats me hi

this is the official blog, so stuff like updates, audition/application forms and some promo stuff will be all on here

i completely forgot to post abt this on here but

‼‼ our bmcblr directors are sawyer (@swagcoolcat) and rat (@rad-rat-with-a-tophat) ‼‼🎉🎉

they will be helping me out with managing the project! sawyer (soysauceflavoredtidepod on discord) is in charge of the art team and cast, and rat (chaotichydra4952 on discord) is head of the music department. if you have any problems and cant reach me for whatever reason, feel free to shoot them a message!

hey gang, im sure yall could tell by the absolute zero movement but i figured i should give you the long overdue official notice; bmcblr is discontinued.

ultimately it was way too ambitious of a project for a bunch of kids with other commitments. thank you to everyone who took part and/or followed this project, i seriously appreciate all the support and effort this received. even if nothing came of it, it was still a fun experience (while it lasted 💀)

we are currently looking for any instruments, but specifically drums! being able to play the drums by ear (i.e. learn from the soundtrack instead of sheet music) is preferred, but not too big of a worry if you cant! you might have to write your own sheet music tho want to join the music department? check out the pinned post to learn more!

is there an age limit to join bmcblr? as long as youre 13 and over you should be good! although if youre like 10 why are you watching be more chill in the first place. if you want to play a character there are higher age limits, so be sure to check out the actors FAQs!

can i still join if it's already started? as of right now yes, but it depends on what stage we're at! if the characters have already been cast then obviously you cant audition. if we're already done with the music then you wont be able to join the music department, so on and so forth. however you can join for ensemble whenever you want! feel free to join the server and ask/message me anywhere if you want to be sure

how do i reach you? feel free to shoot me an ask or dm either here or on my own blog @sea-jello! you can also message me on discord if you want youll see me when you join the server

do i have to participate to join the server? not at all! feel free to join just to hang out

can i help manage the project? as of right now not yet! i want to try running it myself first, but if it gets too much down the line i will be asking for department heads and the like! ofc its better if i sorta know you so dont like,, jump in in the middle of the project asking to run a section. join the discord even if its just for me to get to know you!

what version will bmcblr be? we will be doing the 2 river version! the rights for broadway arent out and im not risking copyright any more than i already am (which does mean we dont get loser geek whatever unfortunately). that being said, some SMALL broadway changes will most likely be made to the script

EDIT: so we ended up having to buy the sheet music and only broadway is available (the rights were released a while ago), so we will be doing the broadway version

is it animation or live action? it will be sorta like a rough animatic with little snippets of animation scattered around!

is this legal? who knows lmao. if we do get copyrighted the most that will happen is it gets taken down. if that happens we can separately upload the songs sorta like music videos. thats allowed under fair use

when will the project be finished? i have no idea. could be a year could be longer

where can i watched the finished product? it will most likely be on youtube!
