To the Later Half of 2026
Let’s go to cafes
Let’s then go to bars
Let’s go to wherever we’re away from cliches
Doesn’t matter if our hearts drift to Mars
Tell me in my ear
Tell me your wishes and fear
Tell me how life made you shed a tear
Until I say, “then let’s get out of here”
Take me to Paris
Take me to Bali
Take me to your made-up places
Doesn’t matter if we’ll get there
As long as my calendar is filled with my time with you
Eulogy of Every Romance
I’ve seen through
every piece
of your soul.
Yet, you’d rather
believe I’m a
blind man with sight.
Fall
She fell for him
He fell for her harder
But I fell the hardest
Because I fell down the stairs
Always save your kindness for those who actually cherish it.
El Born
Don’t let your emotions dominate your journey. Your journey always lasts longer than your emotions.
Watcha lookin’ at? 👀
Coffee Stain
no need to mind
the coffee stain,
spilled over
the saucer
no cup should be wiped
no saucer should be replaced
no spoon was pulled out of the cup in the wrong angle
no saucer was placed in a harsh manner
no table was startled the moment you moved your legs
nothing was ruined. no one was denigrated.
as sunlight shined through the window,
the saucer, with newly formed coffee stain on it,
became a bit messy, a bit casual
just like your languor
warm and lovely
The Irony
Sadly,
we don’t complete each other.
It’s just about the same parts of our hearts
similarly shattered.
諷刺
可惜
誰也完整不了誰
只是你我心裡相同的地方
碎得很相似
Charred Building
“Let’s get back to where we were!”
You suggested
And led me to the building
Which was once for us.
I shook my head and withdrew my hand,
Leaving you frustrated and myself guilty.
But I needed to step away,
For I saw the building had been charred.
Horizon
1. They see a plane and admire how massive it is,
Without any idea where it will land
2. They see a plane and analyze its speculation.
The destination always brings a lot of discussions
3. They feel a plane above their heads, but they know what they should really keep their eyes on.
What is the need to care about a plane?
Contract Terminated
I letted them
dwell in my house
decorate its interior
and create memories
So when they leave
with no intention to extend the contract
I still have the wonders
they left when they were kind
What You Wanted
you said you were looking for light—
so you walked into me
like it might be hiding
behind my eyes.
but I wasn’t enough,
not bright, not burning,
just a quiet room
you mistook for dawn.
you talked of escape
but folded yourself
into the dark
like it’s home.
you said you wanted fire
but breathed easier in ash.
I won’t lie—
I was never your sun.
I flicker. I could sometimes get put out.
I don’t lead anyone out.
but if someday
your fingers twitch toward the edge—
if the dark stops
making sense—
I’ll be there,
not as a beacon,
but as a hand
pulling you toward
your own blaze.
彷彿洄游到歸宿;
The Person Named Happiness
In the quiet dawn, where dreams unfurl,
Many sought the elusive pearl,
A figure named Happiness, serene and still,
Yet few could climb that distant hill.
From afar, I called, with hope's gentle plea,
"Why do you stay so far from me?"
Happiness turned, with a patient grace,
"I stand here waiting, in this humble place.
Many chase with fervor, yet never advance,
For the chase becomes their only dance.
I do not flee, nor do I hide,
I simply wait, with arms open wide.
Oh, dear seeker, do not be deceived,
For those who found me often left aggrieved.
I am not the treasure you wish to hold,
Nor the milk that warms when nights grow cold.
I am not the bloom of a radiant flower,
Nor the map to a hidden tower.
I am but a key, a simple mug of water,
An empty vase, where aspirations may waver."
Before I stood by Happiness's side,
I dreamed of riches, of joy magnified.
Yet here I find, in the quiet of day,
Happiness is simple, in its own humble way.
Long List
I invited you to make a long list
Of the ones beloved by you the most
Until you mention the name
Written on the VIP card in my hand.
You listed the closest ones,
Ones you’re in good terms with,
And even ones you’re not quite familiar with.
Yet the long list hasn’t ended.
Extending the length of the long list
Without the maximum number of the invited ones,
I wonder, instead of how many people you’ve invited,
If you would ever mention your own name,
Written on the card?
