shigaraki fucker here and I'd like to hear ur thots about alpha shigaraki and his beta or omega s/o

Shigaraki

✭ Shigaraki has to be in control of everything, so his s/o being a Beta or an Omega is important to him. He thinks that automatically makes you less than him in power and strength

✭ He performs his duties as an Alpha well. He scents your clothes before you head out, eventually scent marks you, and he takes the initiative in the relationship. But not of it makes him happy, or makes him feel strong

✭ What he really wants is to be held and cuddled by you. 

✭ You’re going to have to bring this up with him. He thinks he can’t be weak in front of his Beta/Omega. If you want a healthy relationship with Shigaraki you’re going to have to help him overcome the idea that he always has to be strong

✭ It can just be small things, like scenting his clothes or his pillow. Kissing him first without asking for a kiss, or even providing a glass of water for him without being asked or suggesting he have some water. He’ll pick up on it eventually.

✭ Once he does, Shigaraki will be more human towards you. He’ll be a bit more casual about affection and the relationship. Overall the two of you and your Alpha will be a lot happier together!

The Problem With A/B/O

As someone who enjoys a/b/o dynamics to the point that I’d make an imagines blog based around it, I know a/b/o is extremely problematic. Roll your eyes at that term if you want, but the fact of the matter is a/b/o is typically extremely misogynistic, transphobic, homophobic, and violently sexual. Most a/b/o fics I’ve read are dubcon at best.

If you’d like a proper explanation, @/cannibal-rainbow has a post that explains the really fucked up things that are common and practically unavoidable in a/b/o right here. And user sylvermyth has a post discussing three (3) most popular tropes in a/b/o and alternatives right here (it’s kinda long so fair warning).

I agree with both of them. As a female bodied nonbinary person, I’m sick of it.

The purpose of this blog will be the subversion of these tropes. I’ll be writing a/b/o fics with none of the transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, heteronormativity and sexual violence.

✭He would struggle with initiating anything, be it holding your hand or kissing you, you’ll have to make the first move

✭He’s not crazy about PDA, but he won’t deny you hugging and hand holding. 

✭He’ll be a little flustered if you kissed him in public, but only for a second

✭Anon, you are entitled to your own opinions, but Todoroki Shoto is an Omega

✭That being said, once you two are well into the relationship, your things would start to go missing

✭You start getting desperate when you can’t find your tie or uniform jacket

✭You figure out where your stuff went when Todoroki brings you one of your hoodies and just casually asks you to scent it for him

✭He’s not a jealous person, but when he’s around his heat, you know to keep your distance from the other Omegas in class. If he catches even a whiff of another’s scent on you, he won’t hesitate to scent mark you in front of everyone

✭ I started this blog because I like A/B/O dynamics but can’t find too many blogs or fanfic where it’s not violently sexualized and/or transphobic and/or misogynistic.

✭ Feel free to ask for my headcanons on people’s secondary genders, or submit some of your own!

✭ Four characters max for a request please! I write for class 1-A best, but I’ll write for anyone except Endeavor and Overhaul. Do not request them.
