This is not only my story. In Gaza, our stories blur into one another: some of us survived, some of us didn’t, and the bombs never cared to tell us apart. We are a people living through the largest genocide of this century.
I survived… but a part of me is still trapped there, in the moment I almost lost my life.
I return to my children trying to look strong, while the truth is that my family has no home, my husband has no work, and fear sits heavy on my chest every day.
And sometimes, when I quietly fall apart inside, a painful question passes through me: Would it have been easier if I had died? But then I see my children’s eyes… and that question fades, leaving only my plea to you.
We need your kindness and support, so we can stand again and so I can protect my family before despair swallows us completely.💔
The kindness of strangers.
People who don’t know us, who owe us nothing, yet still choose to care.❤️
Tonight, my four kids are hoping that kindness reaches them again. If you can offer a little of it -> the link is in my bio. If not, a reblog is a small kindness too.
Update: Tuesday 02.12.2025
Thank you all for your kindness. The compassionate Tumblr community has never hesitated to stand with Gaza and support us. They were the reason we survived and avoided risking our lives because of poverty. This is true.
I will die from anemia and my family will starve after me. If you ignore this, maybe you should question your humanity.
My brother died of hunger. Please help me provide food for the rest of my little brothers and sisters. We do not deserve what is happening to us!

Homeless in My Homeland
"I am on the street… homeless, with no shelter left. The occupation is forcing the entire Gaza Strip into evacuation — pushing us out of every corner of our land. There is nowhere to go, nowhere safe.
Be with us now. Stand with Gaza. There is no room for silence, no room for marginalization."

We are only 6 days away from the end of this month and we haven't received half of the required amount after an exciting journey of student support that helped us support 120 students from Gaza to complete their education, but we are on the verge of collapse. This bridge will fall if we don't complete the required amount in 6 days. We have $1,100 left to pay next month's rent!
Are you a student in school or university? Do you have a good education? It's your responsibility now. Donate your wealth to provide education for the students of Gaza. Give them hope in this life after their homes, universities, and schools were destroyed! Isnad was created to provide them with a safe and adequate education. We at Isnad now provide our students with free training in architectural engineering, which means we are qualifying them to be able to rebuild Gaza! This has been our motto since the beginning: Today's students build tomorrow. If you truly need to contribute to Gaza, donate to this student who will learn with the money you donated and contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza. You will, in turn, have a stake in this construction!

Dear friends,
The war has returned with a devastating force. Bombings and loss of life have intensified beyond measure, and the destruction is everywhere. The markets, once bustling with life, are now barren, and where goods are still available, their prices have soared beyond reach. In these trying times, my family and I are facing unimaginable hardship. We are in desperate need of your support more than ever. Your generosity can make all the difference in helping us secure the basics—food, clean water, and medicine. Our situation is critical, and we are struggling to survive under the weight of these soaring costs. Please, extend your hand to us during this time of extreme need. We can’t do this without you.

Imagine walking for miles beneath a merciless sun, each step a battle against exhaustion. The empty water containers in your hands feel heavier with every faltering step, but you press on through rubble-strewn streets, driven by the desperate need to find clean water for your family.
Your vision blurs, dark spots dancing at the edges, and your heart pounds with the effort to stay upright. The heat is suffocating, your limbs tremble with fatigue, but you force yourself forward, refusing to give in. Then, without warning, your strength gives out. Your legs buckle, and you collapse onto the burning earth, dust rising around you as darkness claims your senses.

Story written by @rumiandroses
For most in Gaza, each day is a battle for survival—but for fifteen year old Ahmed Aldani, who is chronically ill, the struggle is far more severe. His body is being pushed to its limits by the relentless strain of hunger, pain, and exhaustion. He needs urgent medical care and a chance to escape the nightmare that has become his everyday life.
Image: Ahmed recently reached out to us with an update on his condition.
Every task, no matter how small, has become a struggle for survival. Just a few weeks ago, Ahmed collapsed while walking 3 kilometers (almost 2 miles) to fill water—his body having difficulty sustaining the effort, in desperate need of medical care that, without financial help, is out of reach for Ahmed and his family.
Born amidst conflict, Ahmed has spent all fifteen years of his life enduring the effects of war. The development of his teeth and hair were negatively impacted by toxic gas his mother inhaled during a phosphorus attack while pregnant with him in 2008. The recommended treatment—dental implants—is far beyond his family’s means, with each tooth costing around $1,000. But without treatment, the pain and exhaustion will only worsen.
Images: The development of Ahmed's hair and teeth were impacted by white phosphorus that his mother accidentally inhaled after an occupation attack near the family home in 2008.
Ahmed’s family has been displaced more than seven times in the past ten months, their savings drained just to stay alive. They now live in the southern part of Gaza, jobless and with no access to proper medical care.
This GoFundMe is a lifeline, both for Ahmed’s survival and for his family’s chance to escape Gaza and access the medical treatment he so desperately needs. The goal is to raise $50,000 to cover travel expenses, medical care, and a chance for Ahmed to finally rest, heal, and grow up without pain overshadowing every moment.
Ahmed needs your help—now more than ever. Even the smallest donation can help bring him closer to the care he needs to reclaim his health and his future.
You can donate to Ahmed's GoFundMe campaign [HERE].
Ahmed's campaign has been vetted by @gazavetters, and is (#198) on their list of verified campaigns.

BREAKING: Israel will not allow people to return north and has opened fire on those attempting to return to their homes, killing one person and injuring three others.
Help my father he needs treatment💔💔😥😥😭😭😭🚨🚨
My father was seriously and critically injured in an Israeli bombardment while he was fleeing his home to another city. Doctors at the American field hospital extracted 33 missile shrapnel, i.e. small pieces that scatter from missiles when they explode and penetrate bodies. They extracted them from both of his feet, and one remained lodged in his diaphragm. He is unable to breathe normally, eat, or sit. He remains lying down so that breathing does not strain him. I want to help my father recover and return to us in good health. His travel expenses amounted to only $600 to reach Egypt, and we do not have a quarter of this amount, and we do not know how much his treatment will cost us. Please, I want to treat my father. Donate to me, even if it is a little, as it will make a big difference to me, or spread my campaign to those you know who can donate. May God protect you.😭😭😭💔💔😥😥🙏🙏🙏🙏🍉🍉

Hello, I am Mohammad Taysir, 34 years old, a Palestinian living in Gaz… Mohammed Alanqar needs your support for Save My Family from the War
Ahmed Munir Al-Anqar: A Father's Cry from the Heart of Gaza 💔
Urgent Humanitarian Appeal: A Displaced Family in Gaza … Ahmed Moner Alanqar needs your support for Ahmed in the Heart of War:A Father
My name is Ahmed Munir Al-Anqar, I am 34 years old, a father of four children: Qusai (12 years old) 🧒, Jouri (7 years old) 👧, Mohammed (4 years old) 👦, and Adam (1 year old) 👶. My wife, Heba (27 years old) ❤️, is my partner through this harsh journey. We are a small family who once lived with hope despite the difficult circumstances, but the recent war on Gaza has left us with nothing but pain and devastation. 😔
A Home Reduced to Rubble, Dreams Buried Underneath 🏚️
Our home, where we once felt safe, built our memories, and nurtured our children's dreams, is now nothing more than a pile of rubble. 🏳️ The sound of bombs and missiles was faster than our fleeing footsteps, and we barely managed to escape with our trembling souls. 😢
The Journey of Displacement… From Destruction to the Unknown 🚶♂️🛑
We were forced to flee to the south of Gaza, seeking refuge in an overcrowded school 🏫. But here, nothing resembles life:
No clean drinking water 💧🚱
No electricity ⚡❌
No proper sanitation 🚽❌
No medicine for sick children 💊❌
My children sleep on a cold floor 🛌🥶, their little stomachs aching from hunger and thirst. 🍞 My youngest son, Adam, cries all night 😭, and Jouri asks me every day: "When will we return home, Daddy?" 🥺 And I… I have no answer.
A Father's Plea to Your Hearts ❤️🙏
I am not asking for much. I am simply asking for a chance at a dignified life for my children 🏠💝, a roof to shelter them, clean water to quench their thirst 💦, and medicine to ease their pain. 🩹
Any contribution, no matter how small, can bring us a glimmer of hope 🌟 and allow me to look into my children's eyes without feeling helpless. 🥹
Help us give our children their right to live. 🕊️
Every donation makes a difference. 🤝
