Here we are. Who What Where is BOATCOOKS? Allora. I’m Boat (Thai nickname…it’s a great story), I live in a foodies paradise – Bangkok, Thailand and I love everything about food. Especially cooking sustainable local ingredients and making things from scratch aka.whole food cooking. So, welcome and stay on for more goodies to come.

The great thing about using good ingredients is that you barely need to do anything to them. Just a few cracks of salt and pepper and we're done! PS. Western Kale tastes like a softer more tender than Thai kha nah (คะน้า) no wonder people love them. 💚

Morning Mohinga in Yangon. Normally comes with a hard boiled egg and some crispy fried fritters. Taste a lot like khanom jeen nam ya in Thailand or laksa in Singapore and Malaysia. #boateats Boat Noodles or kuay tiew ruea 🍜The soup is brown because there is fresh pork blood added to the soup. Why? To add richness and a more full bodied taste to the noodle eating experience.
