Guys no. No bros no way. So I watched Fionna and cake season 2, which lead me to re-watch some Adventure Time episodes, which lead me to re-listen to all of the songs, which lead me to go like "hey, I wonder what did the italian version of the songs sounds like", as it's been more than 10 years since I watched the dubbed version.

AND BROS. BROS IT'S SO BAD. Like, at least this one song it's so bad guys. How could they do that. To my favourite song. Guys jail, musical jail.

No, 'cause the thing that piss me off the most in song adaptation is when people try to make a translation of the lyrics and completely disregard the metrics, and sometimes also the rhymes. I swear I got a reverse language shock. Or whatever.

I know it's hard to adapt songs in other languages...but not THAT hard. I mean it was right there!!! Some lines were literally so easy, the translation was so straightforward, bro. Like in the part "And I need to save you, but who's going to save me?", they literally had a direct translation that also rhymed and also respected the metric AND DIDN'T. OMG. They saw that the song had kinda an irregular rhythm and a discourse, letter-style lyrics (which make sense because it is a letter) and they interpreted it as "add random beats to random part, give 5 syllables when there was only two. Crazy.

Anyway sorry for the rant, I'm just so scioccobasita. If you know italian, I wrote a different version that, in my humble musical peasant opinion it's closer to the original and overall better.,

|||I whish I could record it someday, I mean it shouldn't be that hard, I could just sing it on top of a karaoke version. Yes? It's not like I'd post it to monetize it or anything, so I should be able to use a copyrighted base
