Rain

I've always been comforted by the idea of rain

Blissful water falling from the sky

In waves of turbulence and blinding light,

Or a gentle blessing of mist

And when the rain is there

I open my door,

I let my face and body get soaked,

I bask in the water falling around me,

And at last,

I am home.
