I hope this helped.
The boredom drowned, yeah.

Free time and some boredom.
I hope this helped.
The boredom drowned, yeah.
bobby-walsh:
“No training for you, then?”
“Right….” He stared at the handful of cabins. They were very, very different from the barracks at Camp Jupiter. “You guys are separated by your parentage.”
“Not until old lefty heals up.” Daphne reminded him, tapping the side of her leg. Will and Lena were right. She had to rest before she could start training again…even if it meant falling behind in her training. “And you guys are separated by….ability? Kind of? Sort of?” She gritted her teeth, hoping she didn’t offend him.
“Godly ranking and social status, mostly.”
It was a bit hard to grasp at first, if you weren’t used to the way things were in New Rome. “I’m on the Fourth. My godly relatives aren’t thaaaat important.” And he shrugged, because really. “So... which one is yours?”
bobby-walsh:
“Hey, that way the new girl can practice.”
Bobby grinned at her and started following her. “So. Lava wall. Pretty hot.” He laughed at his own joke. “What else do you like to do around here?”
“Nice one.” Daphne smirked, trying not to think about how her heart was beating a little bit faster than before. “There’s sand volleyball, which is fun. Some people train, I watch….mostly.” She led him through the U - bend of cabins. “And here is where we live.”
“No training for you, then?”
“Right....” He stared at the handful of cabins. They were very, very different from the barracks at Camp Jupiter. “You guys are separated by your parentage.”
bobby-walsh:
“And that would be a real shame.”
“Say… since you’re not a pancake right now, wanna show me around your camp? I don’t come here that often.”
“You want the new girl to show you around?” Daphne teased, although she was secretly pleased. Besides, how did anyone say no to those ice blue eyes. “Follow me.” She smiled, waving her hand to signal that he should follow her.
“Hey, that way the new girl can practice.”
Bobby grinned at her and started following her. “So. Lava wall. Pretty hot.” He laughed at his own joke. “What else do you like to do around here?”
bobby-walsh:
Most of my time is spent on the other side of the portal.
That’d explain it.
What brings you to this side of the portal?
Free time and some boredom.
bobby-walsh:
“Not really. I guess we both were lucky.”
“You think so?” Daphne grinned, biting down on her bottom lip. “Well, I mean…I know I am otherwise I’d be flat as a pancake right now.”
“And that would be a real shame.”
“Say... since you’re not a pancake right now, wanna show me around your camp? I don’t come here that often.”
bobby-walsh:
Not exactly a newbie.
I haven’t seen you around before.
Most of my time is spent on the other side of the portal.
bobby-walsh:
“It was a pleasure.”
“So, do you go around catching a lot of falling girls?”
“Not really. I guess we both were lucky.”
bobby-walsh:
“I didn’t say that. You’re not of use as a soldier, but we’re not at war. Well, you guys aren’t.” Camp Jupiter had War Games once a week, after all, and those were as serious as any actual battle.
“So… just be careful. Since I can’t be around to catch you all the time.”
Daphne laughed, but couldn’t help but still feel a little useless. “Yeah, although I’ll be grateful anytime you do. Catch me, that is.”
“It was a pleasure.”
bobby-walsh:
“Because it’s an injury, not a candy bar.” Sure, being handed things could take away some of their value, but not when it came to an injury.
“You would’ve been forced into the infirmary if you were in the Legion. You can’t fight with an injured ankle, and if you can’t fight, you’re of no use…. so good thing you’re not one of us, then.”
“It’s not like that.” Daphne sighed. This is why she’d hid it from him in the first place. She hated talking about what happened to her that kept her from the thing she loved the most. “It’s not like I can sit on my behind all day to let it rest like it apparently needs to. It’s gonna take time to heal and until then, I guess I’m not of use.” She shrugged as he confirmed her worst suspicions. A hurt demigod had no place here.
“I didn’t say that. You’re not of use as a soldier, but we’re not at war. Well, you guys aren’t.” Camp Jupiter had War Games once a week, after all, and those were as serious as any actual battle.

bobby-walsh:
Just taking a look around.
And then I got too close to the lake. Thanks, nymphs.
Poking around the woods is a generally a good way to find trouble. At least for newbies.
Not exactly a newbie.
bobby-walsh:
“Riiiiight.”
“So, you’re a demigod cheerleader with an injured ankle. Can’t they give you ambrosia or something? It’s a legit question.”
“I don’t know.” Daphne shrugged, genuinely confused. “They said something about it being a mortal injury? I don’t know if I exactly trust it yet…seems too easy. Why work for something if it’s just that easy?”
“Because it’s an injury, not a candy bar.” Sure, being handed things could take away some of their value, but not when it came to an injury.
“You would’ve been forced into the infirmary if you were in the Legion. You can’t fight with an injured ankle, and if you can’t fight, you’re of no use.... so good thing you’re not one of us, then.”
bobby-walsh:
Yeah, I can see that.
I’m Bobby, by the way.
Teddy. What were you doing roaming around?
Just taking a look around.
And then I got too close to the lake. Thanks, nymphs.
bobby-walsh:
“You hurt your ankle.”
“You know, you could’ve said that when I asked if you were okay.”
“You asked about my leg, not my ankle.” Daphne pointed out, waggling a finger in his face. “It’s fine. I mean, it hurts, but it always hurts a bit so…nothing new. Like I said, I need to rest it.”
“Riiiiight.”
“So, you’re a demigod cheerleader with an injured ankle. Can’t they give you ambrosia or something? It’s a legit question.”
bobby-walsh:
And yet it feels like they just wanted to take my shirt off.
But thanks for the help.
Maybe. I like the other option more.
Anytime. I’m a natural knight in shining armor.
Yeah, I can see that.
I’m Bobby, by the way.
bobby-walsh:
“No.” He laughed along with her. “You just look very… cheery.”
“Thank you.” Daphne beamed. To her, there was no bigger compliment. “I haven’t been able to do it much since I hurt my ankle, but I’m glad I still have the cheerleader spirit.”
“You hurt your ankle.”
“You know, you could’ve said that when I asked if you were okay.”
bobby-walsh:
“Of course you’re a cheerleader.”
“Believe it or not, you’re not the first person to say that to me today.” Daphne laughed. “You have something against cheerleaders?”
“No.” He laughed along with her. “You just look very... cheery.”
