Gossip | Bobby and Damon
First time Bobby met Damon, he hoped it was the last. But he needed information and Damon, he believed, would be more willing to talk than other demons. After all, Bobby’s connection to Crowley (and his annoying insisting on calling them “besties”) comes in handy, considering he’s the boss of them.
Damon had mentioned he was a crossroads demon in their last encounter, which made Bobby’s job a hell of a lot harder. Though it’s easy to find a crossroads and summon up a specific demon, Damon will want to make a deal; and Bobby isn’t stupid enough to sell his soul. The situation isn’t ideal, but since when is summoning demons on a regular basis quintessential?
Of course, Bobby has all the necessary and obvious precautions taken care of; devil’s trap spray paint, holy water, salt, whiskey. He drives to the nearest crossroads which is luckily only about 10 miles down the road.
The area was stunning, it was about 12:45 in the morning and all the stars were shining. Clouds transparent and illuminated by the bright crescent moon to the West. Bobby shut off his car and pulled his duffle out of the back seat to get started on the devil’s trap. Other than the sounds of spray paint, the night was peaceful. The slight wind was brushing weeds and distant tree leaves against each other creating a sort of white noise. If Bobby wasn’t a hunter, always watching his back, he would take the time to lie on his car and enjoy this beautiful night.
But unfortunately he has a job to do, so he digs a hole in the center for the graveyard dirt, a bone of a black cat and a photo of himself all wrapped up in a piece of old cloth. He buried it and looked around waiting for Damon to show.
