I have this headcanon that Joanne never really grows all that much. He’s out of school, everyone else hit growth spurts, but Joanne just stays short and petite and tiny. They’re all in their 20s and Clayton is still a fucking foot taller than Joanne. He tries not to be salty but it gets harder when everybody jokes about it. (Cheslock is super bad about this. He’s the asshole who asks “HEY HOW’S THE WEATHER DOWN THERE, YA BEANPOLE???” every time he sees Joanne.)

It’s not even like he minds being small. He doesn’t care that he looks like a pixie. It’s other people poking fun at his height and weight that makes him upset. It’s not his fault he’s barely five feet tall and skinny as a rail and there’s nothing even bad about those things!
