Bard wol made a song for Estinien
I've been playing DT and I don't like the story not because Wak, but because the heavy focus on just one NPC in the story in general. It's fun when you relate the character, but it isn't when you don't.
Despite the issue having existed since the end of EW, Zero hasn't received as much criticism as Wak. So far as the amount of people can relate/insert that main NPC whoever they are, the Criticism get less frequent. The same thing could happen in the next expansion with a new NPC or an old.
I prefer to be a protagonist in games and honestly, I don't want to take a role of 'a mentor' either.
I disagree with the notion that the protagonist-centered story is cringe.
Entertainment exists for having fun. The point of role-playing games is to simulate the lives of those you want to be. Also, It's normal to feel happy when we or who we relate get attention and praise, because we are animals who only care about ourselves.
Some would insert themselves in the developer's OCs(NPCs or a pre-made protagonist), and others would do so in their OCs(a protagonist with character creation). Either way, it's a matter of the each one's liking and not failure as a person.
We gamers online aren't always honest about what we truly want. Maybe it'd because we're afraid of being criticized or want to make look ourselves better.
To get what they want, some of us try to manipulate fan bases, by making the others believe that a certain preference is immature or offensive.
I noticed it because I'd do the same if I don't have someone who told me how to reflect myself and my prone to make myself look better.
I really like Estinien and hope SE gives a shot to add a romance system to the game
Youshi p is a man who could calm the community down when modding discourse happened so I bileve he can handle it if he need
Sometimes I kiss Estinien over the monitor of my phone and it makes me feel little better
I don't need too many changes. I just want a confirmation that Estinien loves me in the game, and I'm fine if it's even just one dialogue
I just like the man
"this is for your own good" with estinien saying it?
The Warrior of Light shudders under him. Had Estinien enough patience to allow them his kindness, it would be freely given. The situation at hand, however, does not care.
They are dying.
He shifts his weight and hears them sob for breath, his legs locking their body to the ground from shoulder to thigh, and whispers an apology. Pouring alcohol over the wound, he thanks the Fury for silencing potions. He could not bear to hear them scream themself hoarse.
He lifts a blade from the fire (one of many that they carry, repurposed for the emergency) and hisses when the hilt heats his armor to scalding. He cannot imagine how it will feel for them when he seals the wound. He grabs a strap of leather and forces it between their teeth like an afterthought.
He has nearly forgotten everything in the face of their agony and slowly draining life.
He’d tried potions, elixirs, infusions of all sorts, pouring the solutions over where they continued to bleed out. They would fizz and sizzle. Slow the bleeding.
And then stop.
He is left to his last resort.
The Warrior does not glare, instead choosing to grind their teeth on the leather and steel their resolve. They know before he says it.
“This is for your own good.”
And it is, though they black out when he is barely halfway through. Estinien does not wish this on any enemy of his, much less an ally. To be scorched by fire and their own blade in an act of desperation.
He finishes cauterizing the wound, pours more alcohol over it, dries it, bandages it, and allows himself to weep. Sitting beside them, carding a hand though their sweat-damp hair, he wonders if it would prove true.
Would it have been for their own good? Had he managed to keep them alive? Would they hate him for this, or allow him their company once more?
He is answered by their waking, bells later in a chirurgeon’s bed, and broken call of his name. They wrap trembling hands around his and say, “That must have been hard. You have my apologies.”
“Never more than what you have been through,” he replies.
Their hands do not move from his, nor do their eyes from his face. “May I request one last liberty of you?”
“Anything.”
They smile and it is a hollow and bitter thing. “Do not cry for me. There are a thousand thousand others guided by the selfsame light as I. You are too good to mourn a false hero.”
But he does, years later, when Black Rose steals all from him. He stands at their pyre and cries.
They cannot hear him.

Wol's holiday
I made up characters for this as usual
So wol could be the Viera, Miqo'te or that man
I imagine people of Miqo'te like to panch, and Viera love to kick during a quarrel

Their scalekin foes were felled before they might make the walls of the Observatorium's modest hamlet, with its modest corps of knights to guard walls and gates. It was not the gates nor the stone nor even the men which the company of devoted thrustaevis had sought to destroy: but the cords of firewood delivered nightly from the foothills which kept the hearthfires of the Observatorium bright and warm. Which kept its people from freezing. Estinien bared his teeth at the nearest corpse, lance spinning in his deft fingers, flicking the blood off her blade and onto the snow. His breath steamed in the frigid air and he beckoned with a gauntlet-clawed hand toward the Warrior of Light. "Truly thy title must be well-earned. You flinched not before their wrath. I would not have expected such mettle from one not borne to Ishgard." Estinien was not a worldly man. Though he knew well enough of Ul'dahn gladiators and Gridanian lancers, in his heart, none of them could match the strength of arm or resolve of an Ishgardian knight.
The warrior turned to face the dragoon, averting their eyes from the muddy and blood-stained snowfield.
“I don't think the title proves my combat skill, because people who gave it to me lacked insight for it, unlike you. You're the best lancer I've ever seen.”
They recalled the fight. Estinien's movement was precise, his staying power was unaffected by the snow, and his detectability held the enemy at his mercy. The warrior was first amused and then saddened. How hard did he work for his vengeance? They didn't want to think of it.
“Should I help to clean up the bodies? ”
The warrior said as they walked towards Estinien. There was something like warmth in their eyes.
This was no admiration-addled squire, gushing with enthusiasm for butchery he didn't yet understand. Estinien's pale eyes flicked over him beneath the contours of his visor, and the lance in his hand spun again... this time to rest against his own shoulder, at-ease. "Your title names you Warrior. And well I know that Alberic has considered taking you under the mantle of his mentorship." He had mentored Estinien once. Long years ago. Sharpened him, like a crude knife against a whetstone. Hammered him harder, like a forgemaster. "Leave the dead. Folk of the hamlet shall come without, when 'tis clear danger is past, and see to the butchery. They can make fair coin on the scale and bone of these creatures. If you would defend this land with your arts, 'tis meet that you learn such matters. That we who can pierce the heavens take fruit from the high branches, and not the low, leaving what might be reached by those who are more needful. That we who are strong, in our way, provide for those who are not." He reached a gauntleted hand back, to free his head from his helm. The work of battle made him hot; he steamed, faintly, in the cold, and tucked the barbed helm under his free arm. "Whither do you hail? Gridanian lancers are rarely so strong of arm."
As Estinien rested his lance on his shoulder, they gave him an approving look. His gesture was different from that of mercenaries or adventurers; it looked more polished, even elegant.
“I guess so, if it is important enough to cost my life. Your title seems be important to you. As if you were born for it, to serve as the Azure Dragoon of Ishgard.”
The warrior paused, feeling a little embarrassed. The dragoon's voice carried a certain weight, and they felt as if they were pretending to know something they didn't.
The monster's scales shone on the snow, reflecting the sunlight.
“It makes sense that I'll do as you say, because I'll be a younger disciple of yours, right? I must admit that the knights of Ishgard have certain morals.”
His words were something that would actually help people, not empty words. The warrior didn't think Estinien was saying it just to look good. Maybe it was a part of being the Azure Dragoon, too. Their thoughts were broken by the sudden reveal of his face. Without his helm, the dragoon looked completely different. They blinked a few times, then rested their lance on their shoulder, just as Estinien did.
"I've been everywhere. I had confidence in my lance, and it brought me here, to the north. Although I didn't expect I would find such an exceptional master. I hope I can reach the place where you stand, so I can understand you more. With Hydaelyn's help, we could be friends someday, yes?“

Better than therapy
The previous event was fun, but I wish we could've interacted with Scions during the Valentine event.
I know there are people who don't enjoy the kind of things, so I hope SE will find a way not to hurt anyone's headcanon.
All I want is tiny romantic flavor texts or one cutscene. It might help many depressed gamers more than therapy.
I really like Estinien, and watching his and my character's interaction makes me feel better.
I want something for RP players as much as for raiders. I want to hang out with Estinien.
In SWTOR, you can fight with your actual companion and it add much affection to them.
Please SE. There are people who would pay for.
I mean, that's me. I'm not sure if anyone thinks the same.
yum yum
Cute
I practiced sketching
I need to fix : a wrong perspective, too slow to draw, messy lines, and shitty shading.
What I need to learn: fast sketching, line drawing to learn shading and better lines, how to contrast works, more accurate perspective knowledge
I probably won't do it

Estinien × dragoon wol (I just made up a random Au Ra guy)
How to seduce Estinien
1. Beat his ass
2. Help Ishgard
3. Feed good meals on him
I made Estinien in DQ online
The game said that you needed to create a hero and their brother so I made him as the hero's bro
