books clutched to your chest you shimmy your way through the hustle and bustle of the busy hallways, shoulders bumping, locker doors closing, and insults flying about the air as you keep yourself steady on the path to your locker. Steps away from the metal compartment you’re suddenly shoved against some lockers

“oh shit” Ryan says helping you up “my bad”

“you knocked over Doue’s girl?” Bradley yells

a unanimous “ouuu” rings across the now quiet hallway

“hey i didn’t mean to” Ryan explains quickly “you shoved me asshole”

“didn’t think you were as light as a feather” Malo smirks

“you bitch” Ryan yells running after the boy

the hallways resumes its chaos, you shake off the incident and find your locker, combination entered and door opened

the door is almost slammed back closed, your boyfriends smiling face behind it

“hi gorgeous” he smiles “you sleep good last night? if at all”

Desire looks over you once, picking up instantly on the change in your energy

“hey” he says softly, straightening up subconsciously “what’s wrong?”

“nothing” you mumble dusting yourself off “just got shoved into the lockers-

“it’s fine” you say simply “just didn’t need that on top of the stress”

his hand comes up to cup your cheek, thumb stroking your cheek gently

“i kinda have to, this test is worth 50% of my grade” you sigh

“which is why you shouldn’t overdo it, and you should rest” he says before pulling out a paper

“perfect rest opportunity just so happens to be here” he smiles

you take the paper, scanning over it once before shoving it back in your boyfriends hands

“nope” you say simply

“awe c’mon baby please” he begs watching you turn back to your locker “i need you there!”

“you’ve played fine without me there—

“but those were small games” he almost whines changing over to your other side “this is the big one, the one where all the scouts will be!”

“and i trust your talent will shine through” you say simply swooping your books out

“not as much as if you were there” Desire says “bébé”

“Des” you sigh finally meeting his eyes

his big brown eyes shine with the optimism of someone so innocent, so pure and untouched by this world you fold almost instantly

“fine” you give in

Desire scoops you up into a hug, bringing you down down for a kiss

“not in the halls” a teacher yells walking past

“sorry coach Deschamps” Desire throws out waiting for the old man to turn his back before pecking you once more

“okay okay” you giggle “but you have to help me study”

“yes ma’am!” Desire salutes “you know i love seeing you all nerdy and deep in thought bébé”

“oh gross” Michael gags walking up to you both “really? in the halls”

“weren’t you and your girlfriend fucking in the bathrooms?” Desire shoots back

“so is the one that you got caught in the chem lab and got Michelle from 10th period pregnant?” Desire adds

Michael’s face changes before him and Desire are bolting down the hall
