he may be mostly human but the canine side of him goes far beyond just his fluffy ears and tail ā and that makes itself known in many positive waysā¦ as well as many less than positive ways
for example: bo is, to put it lightly, a very needy boyfriend. the type that could spend an entire day curled up snugly in your arms basking in your undivided attention and affection, and still want more because he can never get enough of you. which is great if youāre also a very tactile and clingy personā¦ but not so great if you have to go somewhere and youāre having to bargain with your boyfriend so you can actually leave the house to attend whatever you have/want to attend
heās also pretty damn possessive over you and can tell, just by the faintest whiff of you, who youāve been hanging out with and he will make his disapproval very well known the second he picks up on the distinct scent of anyone he really doesnāt like (i.e. any other men who arenāt closely related to youā¦ yeah thereās no hiding his jealous side)
bo is also a shameless flirt and will take any and every opportunity he can to flatter, fluster, or just genuinely compliment you. and he excels at finding just the right words or phrases or moments to really push your buttons and get the reaction he wants out of you ā much to his endless enjoyment and your (occasional or ongoing, depending on your preference) mortification
heās also, as touched upon previously, very physical with you and is always making excuses to drag you down to sit on his lap or to hang off of you like itās the most normal thing in the world. itās sweet for the most part. comfortable, even. until he starts to feel a bit ignored and starts kissing all of the sensitive spots on your neck and shoulders and head that he has memorised to get your attention back on him, anywayā¦
not above weaponising his cuteness to get you to do what he wants ā even if it means playing the part of the pathetic, whiny, pouty puppy to get you to stay home and shower him in your love instead of going out to see someone who could never understand you like he does (or to, at the very least, let him accompany you so he can keep an eye on the other person)
stares at you a lot and is very unsubtle about it. sometimes itās innocent, all puppy love and visible infatuation. mostly not quite that. but either way his attention is all yours, so do with that what you will
donāt even think about getting any other digital pets now that heās with you ā he will get so obviously jealous and may even just outright destroy the things. and donāt even try telling him that heās being irrational because that will just upset him even more
he tells you he loves you at least a few dozen times every single day, and he would really appreciate it if you matched his energy and showered him in plenty of words of affirmation in return (needy puppy)
boās favourite places to be kissed are his lips, his neck, and his wrists. his favourite places to kiss you are your lips, and your pulse points
he does occasionally lick you instead of kissing you. and, yes, he lets you pet his ears (but only if you ask nicely)

Sunny Day Jack
Jack's first tip-off of your weakness was an interaction with your dog. How easily you were to give in to the adorable pooch when she begged for a treat or a bite of your chicken.
At first, Jack thought himself silly for even thinking about testing out this theory. Surely it only works because it's your dog. However, one night, while trying to convince you to go home and spend time with him instead of having drinks with your coworkers. He gave you the best puppy dog eyes he could muster with the promise of cuddles and watched you folded IMMEDIATELY.
At first, he was surprised it worked so well. Even to the point that he didn't fully believe it until he tried for a second time and once again watched you instantly fold to his whims.
Once he learned of this, he used it not only to keep you to himself but as a manipulation tactic. He tries to do subtly so that you won't catch on that he is using it to manipulate you.
Wanna go out? "But sunshine." š„ŗ "Don't you want to stay home, cuddle, and watch your favorite show?"
friends want to come over? "I thought we were going bake together today?" š„ŗ
As you're sitting on the couch cuddled up to Jack and your dog, you begin to wonder. What happened to all my other friends?
Bo
You tipped Bo off immediately when the two of you first interacted. Not only did you coo and gush about how adorable he was, but your room had an adorable, and sweet asthetic.
So he didn't even really have to test it out like Jack did.
One day, you mentioned having to go to a friend's birthday party. You were gonna leave his device behind. You didn't want him to say something to tip someone off after all, right?
Well, Bo didn't seem to think seem to agree. At first, he tried to talk you into it. Promising he won't speak out of turn or to your friends, and that he just wanted to be close to his puppy!
When you still refused to give in was when he pulled out the big puppy dog eyes followed by a whine. That was it all it. He was at the party in your hand, getting the admiration of all your friends with all his neat tricks. While also making sure there aren't any "threats" around.
After you confirm to him your weakness, he takes no shame exploiting it to get what he wants. It does it so naturally due to his dog qualities that you can't even tell he is using it as a weapon. You thought that's just who he was.
Are you trying to leave him in his device alone? Please don't leave me alone, puppy š„ŗ let me go with you
A friend who clearly wants more from you wants to hang out more? Puuuuuupy! š„ŗ You said that since you had left me for work, you would spend extra time with me!
Once he gets out of his device? Forget it. Either your never leaving your house again because he is breeding you over and over, or he is attached to your hip growling at everyone who comes near.
