Full Name: Alejandro Torres de La Rosa
Note: Only Ricardo and Bill have permission to use the first nickname, the second is a name he picked up due to his catwalk. He doesn’t love it but it’s “whatever, now”.
Birthdate: September 15, 196X (Virgo)
During the main events of HNI, he’s Ricardo’s age, meaning around his mid 30’s.
Nationality: Mexican (native descent)
He speaks Spanish, English, German and French fluently. He is also knowledgeable in some others.
In truth, he’s usually around 125- 134 but does weight control when it’s modeling season. Because of this, he has to be meticulous about his diet. It’s not his favorite thing to do.

A man of a slender yet elegant build, he has a more feminine appearance. He is lean and while he doesn’t have the same amount of muscle as Ricardo, he’s still lightly toned.
His hair is in a chin-length bob, it’s almost like a wavy wolfcut. However, he has moneypieces that are somewhat more straight than the rest of his hair that are long and curl around his chin. They sometimes can cover his eyes at a 3/4th degree angle.
He had very prominent eyelashes.
Has a cowlick on top of his head.
He’s very fashion conscious. He aims to be always in balance, never overdressed and never undressed. A typical outfit for him looks like above:
Open button-down shirt with some type of pattern or sheer fabric.
He is very big on jewelry and will always have some gold or huichol bead bracelets on him. A notable feature is that he always has a 3-bar gold necklace, and this was the remaining thing he has left of his mother. He never takes it off.
Alejandro doesn’t mind wearing more “feminine” clothing, and he’s also used to it as his modeling agency books him for various types of fashion modeling. He in fact enjoys some of it, especially if he can get a rise out of Ricardo.
A free spirit, Alejandro is a naturally energetic and vibrant person, able to talk and think rapidly and cleverly. He lives life to his own whim, with a fierce independent streak yet with ease, preferring to relax rather than planning ahead. He is friendly to most people, able to strike up conversations with complete strangers. He is also quite charming, and usually uses it to get what he wants from someone, or to get a rise out of Ricardo and Bill.
Mexican cuisine. Chinese is a close second.

Childhood : (WIP; Subject to Change Based on whatever Morikawa says)
Alejandro was Ricardo’s best friend from childhood. His family, consisting of his mother and father, were in the same mountaineering industry as Ricardo’s own, guides and bag carriers for mountaineers conquering peaks. His mother focused more on the tourist side, selling flowers and handicrafts with them. He did both types of work, guiding after his father and selling cempasúchil like his mother.
Ricardo’s family and his were good friends, and the boys were often attached to the hip. Ricardo was a quiet and reserved child, often relying on Alejandro to communicate for him. They were considered the odd pair for this and weren’t very popular with the rest of the mountain children. Alejandro was also ostracized by some due to his unusual appearance.
On their trips for supplies to the city, they would meet Bill Stewart, a famous American boxing coach that had chosen Mexico City as his permanent home and recruiting grounds for his next champion. Both boys were pretty familiar with boxing as a sport as Ricardo’s father was one himself after mountaineering work. Bill often had his students out in the mountains to train and Ricardo and Alejandro would sit to watch them. He felt thrilling joy and excitement watching them shadow box and spar. Bill would invite them to watch sparring at the gym when they’d pass by and often had snacks and candy for them.
His childhood was relatively happy and tranquil, even with the differences of his body in comparison to the rest of the boys he knew, including Ricardo’s. This childhood didn’t last long as Ricardo’s father would pass away, leaving a grieving Ricardo wasting away his days on top of the hill waiting for his dad and Alejandro, anguished, waiting too so he could at least provide company to his beloved friend. More tragedy would follow as Alejandro’s own would also die in a large landslide during a terrible storm shortly after.
Adolescence and Adulthood
Because of the connection they had formed with Bill and the fact that Ricardo’s father had been a boxer taught in the same gym, he would be the one to take them in after the loss of both of their parents one after the other. He became Alejandro’s parental figure, and they came to live with him.
It took a long time for Alejandro to adjust with this new normal, and in hopes of making the transition easier, Bill would become their boxing coach. Alongside Ricardo, Alejandro quickly picked up the fundamentals of boxing and found that he was quite fast and steady on his feet, thanks to a lifetime of hiking on mountain paths. But when it came to sparring and Bill’s encouragement to go “pro”, he squirmed away and didn’t like it. He didn’t see the enjoyment that others saw, and only really did it to please Bill and provide Ricardo some company.
He was sort of aimless, as a lot of his interests were not as “masculine” and Bill didn’t nurture them. Ricardo was more receptive to his love of photography and enjoyment of trifling through the tianguis markets. That was until Ricardo was ready to go for the WBA world championship belt, and he wanted Alejandro to join him, to go pro alongside him.
Alejandro did not hold any passion for such a venture, and felt that he would be lying to Ricardo and desecrating the art of boxing. When he admitted this to Ricardo, it resulted into a heated argument where harsh things were said and Alejandro couldn’t handle it. Alejandro left the country that night.
Alejandro traveled to Europe and found himself doing odd jobs in order to fund himself and have a small place. This is where he would be spotted by a street photographer and have his looks spread and recognized. So began his introduction into the world of fashion modeling, where he was contracted with niche brands at first due to the existing barriers of his skin color, physical appearance and race.
He never stopped checking Ricardo’s matches, always tuned in for his latest one from his flat somewhere in Europe yet he couldn’t find it in his heart to return. It wasn’t until a couple of years later where Ricardo had defended his title against Eiji Date for the first time and gave a notable interview declaring that part of his machismo (read: hombría) was to never forget those who loved and supported you first. Through this implicit apology, Alejandro’s strong demeanor broke as he realized it was directed at him, that Ricardo never moved on from him as he had tried to force himself to believe, and that Ricardo was apologizing to him for the things he said during that fateful argument, hoping to reach Alejandro somewhere. That night, Alejandro was on his way back to Mexico.
It took a couple of days for Alejandro to work up his courage to drop by Bill’s gym and finally see Ricardo in the flesh. He was by Ricardo’s side by then, once again attached at the hip and he would become extremely selective about his modeling contracts, preferring to stay as close as possible to Ricardo and increasing his modeling value then. From now on, he stays by Ricardo’s side and the two of them keep their relationship on the down low, aware of the social and legal consequences that Ricardo could face as the reigning world WBA featherweight champion as well as Mexico’s face in boxing.
It doesn’t stop them from being together in person, and for sure, rumors abound not helped by Alejandro’s proclivities in modeling and his appearance but both of their nonchalance and ability to act unaffected seems to quell such rumors from becoming full on scandals.
He stays being his cutman despite that, as well, ever faithful by his side. During the times he cannot due to his modeling contracts, he watches the matches or sits from the frontlines to see him as he promised never to miss a match. Alejandro doesn’t wish to do modeling his entire life, and has been offering acting contracts but turns them down as he would like to follow Ricardo wherever he ends up.
