Laura Walker

Hello my name is Laura and I am a Photographer from Oxfordshire, UK. I graduated from De Montfort University studying Video, Photography and Film Studies, I then when on to do an Artist in Residency at Oxfordshire School of Creative Arts, where I focused on different Alternative Processes.I also specialises in Black and White Darkroom Printing and have recently starting working with Wet Plate Collodion. I describe myself as a “heritage and rural life photographer”. I tend to be drawn to the English landscape and traditions.I am available for Photography Workshops and this includes Alternative Processes or Photography Practices.Influences: James Ravilious, Sally Mann, Edward Burtynsky, Ansel Adams, John Gay & Frank Meadow Sutcliffe. Awards: Bronze Award – Printed Life in Black and White – The Imaging Warehouse – 2014

Chemigram workshop

Calling all lovely photographers, artist, creative people!

I am running a Chemigram workshop in Adderbury, Oxfordshire on Saturday 20th July 2019.

We will experiment with different Ilford black and white papers and developers. This workshop will get you creating unique photographic prints without using a camera.

It will be a wonderful creative day filled with laughs and cake. All materials and protective clothing are provided in the ticket price.

Once you have purchased a ticket you will be send a little welcome pack with information about the workshop / health & safety.
