very disappointing when someone says "the bird app" and for one lovely moment I think they are talking about Merlin Bird ID by Cornell Lab, the free app that allows you to identify birds by appearance or sound, make a list of birds you have seen, and explore all the birds native to your region.... and then I realize they are talking about twitter.

.Iâm getting coffee with someone on Friday (and by someone I mean a guy) and
while I know this is good thing because - distractionÂ
and also - sort-of âmoving onâ
(but not really haha)
what it really really really isÂ
is me proving to myself and the world that I can snare people in
and beÂ
âworthyâ
or whatever the fuck it is.Â
I can be pretty
and sexy
and flirty
and whatever.Â
and mostly I want to whine about how much my back hurts all the time
from the fucking rowing injury seven fucking years ago.Â
and how my heart, my heart
I donât even have a heart anymore.
And I have learned that
men who drag their feet
like matches
often find
women who will set themselves
on fire
just to taste the burn.

I have made you poetry.
You have made me a stranger.
Iâm no longer interested in pain. it doesnât inspire me, it doesnât motivate me, I donât think itâs a beautiful thing. Iâve spent too long making suffering a part of my personality
if you donât almost cry every time you listen to âretrogradeâ by maggie rogers
esp at the line âcome out of the darknessâ
then idk why youâre following me because thatâs a WHOLE FUCKING MOOD
