Looking back, I find it very funny for kids shows (especially PPG) where the villain would literally mumble the word ‘curses’ under their breath upon being defeated.

Intentional or not— it’s a funny call back to the phrase ‘muttering curses under your breath’ while still keeping it for kids.

he knew what he was doing in that scene, playing hopeful, uncertain, in the hopes he could win. Ultimately, Meg’an’s distrust even subconsciously seemed to save her because ain’t no way she would’ve reacted as quick if she fully believed him.

But I want a world where he did actually mean it— not fully, bro still planned to attack, but changed his mind last minute. I want to see how things could’ve been changed — how unapologetically different he would’ve presented himself, waiting for the contempt of those around him and getting none.

Maybe, at some point, there was a little more hope.
