“It could be like that.” She nodded with a grin on her face. “Duly noted, we should cuddle sometime soon.” Of course, the girl wouldn’t go down without a nudge. “Good point,” she agreed, thinking about how the experience would not only bond them but leave a memory of Vegas forever. “I’m just being cautious and considerate.” Says the girl with two colorful tattooed sleeves.

“I don’t know whether to hope it is like that or not.” Jinx jested with a laugh, aware how strange they probably sounded. “I’m free any time you want to be penciled in,” she said casually, with, of course, a nudge. Nodding as Simone agreed with her, Jinx smiled. “Keep your consideration, but throw your caution to the wind.” Now that the idea of getting another tattoo was in her mind, the blonde was itching to get one.

“Lucky,” she said, though she was slowly traveling the world herself. “What’s the best place you’ve visited?” She questioned, trying to get information about where to go to next. “We would, if you can ignore my ugly loud singing.” As much as she enjoyed singing, there was only two places Simone could belt a note. The shower and the car.

“In Europe? I’d definitely recommend the Amalfi Coast in Italy, or Amsterdam as a whole.” The blonde replied, thinking back to the great times she’d had in those places. As difficult as it was to pick favourites with the places she’d been, those two definitely stood out from her travels in Europe. “I can make my peace with yours if you can do the same for mine,” she grinned. There were times when Jinx could carry a tune, but her main concern was letting go and having fun when she sang so it was quite seldom that she was anything more than loud.

“Yes, it does,” she opposed. “How are you going to put two people who view life differently and make them view it the same?”

“You might not be able to view things the same, but you can learn how other people see things and gain perspective and understanding.” Jinx countered calmly, unwilling to make this a fight even if it did seem like it could easily turn that way.

The blonde denied claims to insulting her two times yet Jude couldn’t help but feel like something was sketchy, when it really wasn’t. “You’re optimistic, I’m pessimistic. I don’t think we’ll meet ways on most subjects.”

“Just because I’m an optimist and you’re a pessimist doesn’t mean we can’t meet in the middle with a bit of realism.” The blonde disagreed lightly. If anything, she could appreciate different views and glimpses into other peoples perspectives. Plus, she was never one to dismiss people easily.

“You’re from all over Europe,” she remarked. Simone couldn’t help but find her background interesting, along with her accent. “You’re welcome.” With her head still tossed at one side, she looked up and thought about it. “I’m into a lot of R&B. Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Prince and John Legend would have to be my favorite artists. I do like to listen to other genres like rock, reggae, jazz, Latin and folk.”

“I traveled all over it growing up.” The blonde replied; it was as she got older that her family branched out beyond Europe in their travels, wanting to go to where they had familial roots first. Jinx smiled happily at the other girl, it seemed like they had similar tastes in music, granted she was content listening to just about anything. “You have fantastic taste, too. We’d rock a road trip.”

“Well, I am American. Was that suppose to be an insult?” She asked, assuming the worst like always. “It’s quite possibly the only time we’ll agree on something, full time hippie.”

“Nope, merely an observation.” Jinx countered, a slight hum in her tone. Insulting wasn’t really her style, but the other girl should learn that in time - hopefully. “Aww, don’t be like that, I’m sure we’ll agree on more things. I have faith in us.”

“If it’s like that,” she pointed it, trying to sound as vague as can be. “I meant a romantic cuddle but a friendly one doesn’t sound too bad either.” Simone did the most predictable thing after that, she nudged. “I like it but we all just met. I’m not sure if she has any tattoos.”

“Maybe it is like that, maybe it isn’t.” Jinx replied back, keeping her tone just as vague. “Affection’s never a bad thing. Feel free to tag me in as a substitute until you get that romantic one.” Another nudge was issued as her tone grew playful with the other girl. “Ahh, but what better bonding experience is there? But I get it - good luck trying to get out of it when we’ve known each other longer.”

There was truth to what Jinx was saying. Still, she’d learned to not go deep into heavy conversation just because she was a bit nervous, choosing the light banter instead. “ It can be, sometimes. Other times it’s just taking photos of families for Christmas cards or photos of people’s pets.  I did a lot of those back home.” She laughed. It wasn’t the most interesting, but when a pig or a horse won some fair prize, it was Dani they called on for the front page of the local paper. The travelling part only just started recently, but Jinx didn’t need to know that. “  I couldn’t agree more. My mother would, too. She loves flowers; she has them all over the house in the summer and gets really down when the winter rolls around. She’s kind of a hippie in that way.”

“But wouldn’t that make you happy?” Jinx pointed out. “Seeing other people excited for Christmas - or even just be amused at their holiday stress. And pets, aww, that must of been cute.” If there was a silver lining for everything, and the blonde was determined to always find it, along with the beauty. “Your mother sounds like a smart woman.” She teased easily; plus, anyone who thought so highly of flowers and plant-life was absolutely fine with her. “Tell her to try some cyclamen, hellebore, or crocus; they’re winter flowers.” Jinx gave a nod of understanding at Dani’s mother’s plight. “Hippies are the best kind of people. It’s a shame they aren’t more common these days.”

“What’s your background?” She asked since they were on the subject of DNA tests. She placed her hand over her heart, her head tossed to the side with googly eyes. “You have amazing taste in music.”

“It’s a mixture of British, Albanian and German on my dad’s side, and Greek and Roman on my mum’s.” Jinx replied, flashing back to the seemingly countless talks her parents had had with her and her siblings about their heritage. She grinned broadly at the other girl’s dramatic (and charming) response to her music taste. “Thank you, I like to think I do. Who are some of your favourites?”

Her eyes squinted accusingly at Jinx. “Okay, if it’s like that, it’s like that,” she said in defense. Her eyes shut close at the thought of gay star gazing and cuddling. “What I’d do for a good ol’ cuddle.” She nodded her head while chuckling at her jest before giving her a nudge. “It’s hard out here for a tattooed-pimp.” Simone couldn’t tell you how many jobs she’d been rejected for her body art. “That’s true, that’s why you need three friends. Matching Powerpuff tattoos, boom.”

At the other girl’s accusatory look, Jinx merely smiled innocently at her again - like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth. “If it’s like what?” She asked, her tone matching her smile. Her smile morphed into a sincere one at Simone’s next words. “I happen to be a fantastic cuddler, if you’re ever interested.” She offered, with, of course, another nudge. “Preach it, girl.” The blonde seconded with a nod. For some reason, tattooed people were often misconstrued as being hard or badass, when most of the time that simply wasn’t the case. “That’s a great idea - maybe Cassie would be interested? She could totally pull off Blossom or Bubbles. Then one of us would just have to compromise and change.”

“To judge others, young or old,” she answered, her hair being swung off her shoulders. “In some cases, adults don’t either.”

“Why do we have that right though?” The blonde’s curiosity continued, shifting slightly where she was laying down to be in a more comfortable position. “At least babies will learn. It’s harder when you’re a fully developed person.”

Inching closer to the other person, Joey’s onyx eyes focused on their shoulder before darting to their eyes for a split second and then back to their original location. “Be very still,” she instructed, slowly raising her fingers to the fabric and allowing a small, black spider to crawl onto her fingers. “There we go,” she whispered, a smirk creeping onto her lips. “Hi, little guy.” Raising her hand eye level, she affectionately cooed at the creature. “Phidippus audax.”

Jinx followed the other - and she assumed, new - girl’s instructions, her features pulling into a slight frown at not knowing why. Just as she opened her mouth to ask the question, it was answered as she saw the spider on the darker haired girl’s hand. “What an interesting name, looks more like a Billy to me,” she joked.
