We want to do two sets of prompts as usual, and thought who better to choose the second set of prompts than the bokuakakuro fans themselves? So we’re asking for suggestions, and once we’ve compiled enough we’ll put it to a vote!

BokuAkaKuro Week, Day 5

Day 5: “Pain-in-the-ass Kuroo-san” | Colour Title: On Weekends, Akaashi Keiji Wears British Racing Green Rating: T+ Other: 2nd Year Akaashi, 3rd Year Bokuto and Kuroo. Established Relationship. Implied sexytimes. It’s more of a short character study than anything. My other two entries are taking forever, but this is in the same ‘verse, so hopefully it’s a nice little teaser. Oh, and apparently Butter London no longer makes this color, so *author handwaves facts away…*

It had been his favorite color since the first time he “borrowed” the bottle of his sister’s nail polish: British Racing Green.

It even sounded like an elegant color.

The polish—on his toes, of course, where none of his teachers could complain—went on smooth and dark. So green it was nearly black, with a hint of metallic flake. It looked even better on his toes than it had in the bottle.

And if, on the weekends, Keiji’s carefully kept fingernails appeared in the same color, no one paid much mind. At least until his sister noticed and told him to get his own damn bottle—that stuff wasn’t cheap even before she paid the shopping service!

Bokuto and Kuroo noticed too. Bokuto spent enough time looking at Keiji’s hands that he couldn’t have missed it if he tried. A quick photo sent to Kuroo ensured that he didn’t miss it either.

They both thought that it brought out the blue in Keiji’s slate colored eyes. If it hadn’t already been his favorite color, that alone might have done it.

Day 6: “I’d Like To Up My Physical Power Levels” | Flowers

Rating: T+

Other: Future Fic. Established relationship. Ages are 27/28. Long-haired, tattooed Akaashi, because I love it. Also hurt/comfort, because I love that too.

Summary: Akaashi is a struggling writer at twenty-seven and feels like he’s going to be left behind by his more successful boyfriends. Bokuto and Kuroo are there to remind him that it’s not a race and no one gets left behind.

Bokuto calls 911 to tell them about the cool skateboard trick he almost did, and also that he just bled a lot and may kind of need some help. Kuroo is a paramedic who knows what he’s doing but not so much when it comes to what he’s saying.

Then there’s Akaashi who receives a worrying snapchat.

(for the love of) The Soft Game, 3/7, bokuto koutarou/akaashi keiji/kuroo tetsurou.

Keiji was content to be Bokuto’s best friend, and to watch his relationship with Kuroo from the sidelines. Kuroo, however, had other plans, and he was determined to make sure they came through.
