Literally live by this quote
“No one actually knows what’s best or what the future holds. Until you actually see the results, no one ever knows. So at the very least, why don’t we rely on what we do know. Let’s keep the feelings that we have right now precious. Even though it seems like our lives never change, they slowly do. And just like how we never notice… the changing of the seasons… the same goes for our hearts." - Nanami Takahashi
"No, you’re wrong, Takahashi… It’s because you were there that I was able to come this far. Because you were somewhere… beneath the same sky as me. Even when we were apart, I could never forget… I was always wishing you were happy. That’s all that’s been keeping me together. You’re the one… who made me strong."
- Motoharu Yano (We Were There/ Bokura Ga Ita)
You find new love not to forget the past love. But you forget the past because of that new love.
Ayaka Takeuchi, Bokura Ga Ita (Live Action)
L O V E .
Life’s lessons from Bokura ga Ita Kohen.
Back then, time had stopped.. We were the only two people in the entire world.. The moment seemed so real, yet so like a dream… It lasted forever but was gone in the blink of an eye. we were still young, and we carried eternity in our hearts.
Nanami Takahashi - Bokura ga ita (via moonlightsdream)
Even when we’re apart, i’ll be okay because the memories will live on. My feelings grow stronger to the point where it hurts, but i’ll continue bearing it as the love continues pouring out. I love you. That’s why i swore to myself the next time we meet, i will never let you go again…

Mi chiedo come mai le persone fanno promesse che poi non possono mantenere.
I have always been asking myself this question: Am I a memory? Or is the memory, me? Are we nothing but a collection of memories? Human memories are too vague. Thinking something has color when it doesn’t, making things more dramatic than they really are, glorify things. It gives new greater meaning than what was actually there. That is why I never believed in any of this talk about “beautiful memories.”
Yano Motoharu, Bokura Ga ita (We Were There)
