My name is Nakanbiri , a human rights activist living in Gorom Refugee Camp, South Sudan. I support 202 queer and disabled refugees who are facing severe hardship.
Due to recent health concerns and regional Ebola outbreaks, refugee processing and resettlement activities have been suspended, leaving many people without hope or support.
Our community urgently needs food, clean water, hygiene supplies, shelter, and medical care. Many refugees are suffering from malaria, typhoid, HIV/AIDS, ulcers, and other serious health conditions, while facing discrimination, violence, and extreme poverty.
We are raising $3,500 to provide emergency food, medical treatment, clean water, and essential supplies. Any donation, even $1, can make a difference.

I’m very sorry to post this here, but we urgently need help. Please share this message and support us if you can.
My name is Nakanbiri Josephine, a human rights activist living in Gorom Refugee Camp in South Sudan. I currently support 202 queer and disabled refugees who are struggling to survive under extremely difficult conditions.
Recently, our refugee processing and resettlement activities were suspended for 90 days. Some members of our community were supposed to travel to Canada on the 10th of this month, but all departures were cancelled because of the Ebola outbreak reported in nearby countries such as Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as concerns in South Sudan.
During this difficult time, our community urgently needs support for:
• Food and clean drinking water
• Soap and hygiene supplies to help prevent Ebola and other diseases
• Shelter and basic daily necessities
• Medical treatment for sick refugees
Many people here are suffering from discrimination, violence, malaria, typhoid, ulcers, HIV/AIDS, and other serious health conditions, but we cannot afford proper medical care. Some refugees are even going days without food because of the ongoing conflict and insecurity in South Sudan.
We are urgently trying to raise $3,500 to provide emergency food, medical care, hygiene supplies, and other basic needs for our community.
Please consider donating any amount. Even $1 can help save a life and give hope to someone in need. If you cannot donate, please share our fundraiser with others.
