The Mandela Effect
Fiona Broome put out a theory (the mandella effect) that states that shared false memories are in fact a glimpse into parallel worlds that have different time lines. The name of her theory came from a discussion she had about whether Nelson Mandela died in prison. She and a few other people remembered Nelson Mandela dying in prison.
Many other people who buy into the theory insist that the popular children’s book series The Berenstain Bears was once known as The Berenstein Bears.
Other examples of this effect include
A portrait of Henry VIII holding a turkey leg disappearing
New Zealand being in a different loction relative to Australia
Muhammad Ali being dead
Chartreuse being more of a maroon color
There are many more examples of the effect HERE. Which one of these “false” memories have you had?
We’ve gotten numerous messages about this so we decided to add some more to the list
It’s Oscar Mayer not Oscar Meyer (A lot of people recall the jingle from the commercials and insist the lyrics were “My bologna has a first name, it’s O-S-C-A-R / My bologna has a second name, it’s M-A-Y-E-R!”)
The Monopoly man never wore a monocle
Curious George never had a tail
Some people remember a Popsicle bar called “sour puss” that had a black cat on the wrapper, it doesn’t exist.
Hannibal Lecter never said “Hello, Clarice.” (he just says good-morning)
“We Are the Champions” by Queen doesn’t end with “of the world”
Feel free to keep messaging us more, and we will keep adding to the list.

Polishing the Diamond
I have been returning again and again to the theme of controlling emotion by self-observation. Self-observation is the simple process of removing yourself from yourself and observing as if outside the interplay between thought and emotion.
We sometimes talk of “polishing the diamond”. The diamond is that swirling energy which surrounds the solar plexus and the heart. It is a real energy. We are a machine which uses electricity and chemical energy to transmit information from the brain to the body. This electrochemical process creates a weak magnetic field. We can detect it with scientific instruments. Recently it was discovered that this magnetic field and electrical field can be sensed by human beings.
We can sense this inner diamond. When we become accustomed to observing it we become aware of its pulsing rhythms which respond to our thoughts the way a music visualizer reacts to music. It expands and contracts. It burns hot and cold. Once we have done this observation for a while we can slowly learn to gain some measure of control over it. This is known as “polishing the diamond”.
One technique that people use is visualization. Visualization is using mental images as a kind of symbolic representation of real internal processes. This is how all language works. So we visualize in our minds a glowing ball of energy revolving around our solar plexus. When we are happy the ball expands and spins rapidly. When we are sad it contracts and simply pulses. We can visualize color based on chakra colors. That is when we are fearful or full of appetite for food, drink, drugs or sex it will pulse orange and red. In fear or panic deep red. In calmness yellow. In deep love green and yellow. In calm meditation a serene blue. In full mindfulness violet or clear light.
By visualizing these things we have a kind of language to use. We can say to ourselves my energy is red and static and I need to get it into the yellow and green. Now keep in mind this is just visualization technique and not some magical thing.
It works. Try and see.
