Two strangers -- a man with a beer gut to rival a walrus and a sleazy smile, and a woman with attractive lips and a small frame. He's interested the moment the pet name drips from her ironically honey-sweet tongue. Confusion turns quickly into amusement. Though he considers interjecting to either make life much harder for her for several minutes, or to possibly steal a kiss as payment for his unexpected services, he behaves like a good impromptu boyfriend and smiles relatively calmly. Maybe in the city girls often claimed complete strangers as their own for enough minutes to elude an obvious creep. Somewhere deep down, Kassuq almost feels sorry for the poor bastard. Then again, he should have known better than to go for a woman so obviously out of his league. And while lost in his demeaning thoughts towards the nonbender's retreating back -- at least, the man didn't strike him as a bender -- he notices that she was talking to him. His eyes stray to the dainty fingers slipping away from his chest. Honestly, he felt nearly as sleazy as the other: it'd been a long time since a woman had touched him with even casual interest (hard as that might be to believe, considering his obvious pretty boy charm). He doesn't stop her though, he isn't rude. Dimples clear his face of any previous fogginess as he cracks a white toothed grin, eyebrows raising into the fringe of his bangs. "Make it up to me and show me a good place to buy iced coffee. I'll even get you some too, girlfriend." Perhaps the girl had eluded one creep only to welcome in another; Kassuq snorts roguishly.

Frozen yogurt! a healthy iced treat-- [`Kassuq halts to stare at the product in question -- what on earth was yogurt? But anything iced was bound to catch him; it was too hot here and ice was a great remedy for that. He tugs the girl closer, and the vender spots them.] How bout' a free sample for the little lady? Cute. But we’re already in the city and you seem like you’ve been doing fine so far without a buddy.
