Replayed portal 2 today. A masterpiece
I've been thinking about this for a while and I really wanted to share this. So here it goes:
I think we all know that in early versions of INFINITE Elizabeth had more powers than only opening tears.
Check the 2010 demonstration. You'll see that she can Manipulate the weather, somehow project light through her hands, use of telekinesis and, of course, Tears.
[If you pay attention, the demo showcase characters like Saltonstall being affected by them].
So talking about her powers, here is where my speculation begins: Elizabeth was the source for making the vigors of Columbia.
That is why she's locked in a tower detach from the rest of the city and why the Sifon extracts her power. Can't confirm if this was the original idea tho..
In the 2010 demo, Booker already has telekinesis since the beginning and Liz also seems to have it, when she picks up all the pans with her mind and will.
It's also important to note that we don't know if these were her only powers or if she had more.
But when it comes to this theory, I personally believe that most of her powers could have been based on Earth's elements, y'know, earth, water, fire that type of stuff.
It would, for example, explain why the original concept/model for possesion was a Rose isntead of the green ghost.
The other Vigors also match this context and even are explained!
—----------------------:----------------------—
The Murder of Crows and Possession = Earth
Shockey Jockey = Electricity
UnderTow = Water
Devil's Kiss = Fire
Bucking Bronco/Charge/Return to Sender = Wind (?)
—----------------------:----------------------—
I am not sure on the last three powers but I do believe they match the element of Wind on their own ways.
The first makes enemies (and objects) float in the air, the second one already has wind effects to it and you could say you move just like wind so yea, and the last could be the user casting sort of a small tornado on their hand (?) to catch bullets.
Anyways, this is just a speculation. I am not confirming this actually happened during INFINITE'S production.
It's just a coincidence I noticed one day and wanted to share it.
If you have something to say about it, I would love to see your comment!
