My dear lgbt+ kids, 

If you don’t feel comfortable listening to the songs of someone who makes homophobic jokes or if you don’t want to watch a movie because you know the main actor made racist tweets, then you are not guilty of  “toxic cancel culture” - it’s a natural consequence from the behavior of the celebrity. 

“You said hurtful things” is an fully understandable reason to stop interacting with someone’s content. You don’t need someone else to analyze if it was offensive enough, you don’t need permission to unfollow them, kick their songs out of your playlist, stop watching that show… You’re allowed to have your own boundaries and if a celebrity crosses that line for you, it’s okay to turn away from them. No justification needed. 

It doesn’t even need to be about sending a message or not wanting to give hateful people money - it can just be about your emotional well-being. You don’t have to support people that make you sad.

Jipyeong doesn’t talk about the letters. Dal Mi doesn’t talk about the letters. But Do San bringing it up is the weirdest shit I’ve ever seen.

We haven’t seen Jipyeong or Dal Mi quote the letters to each other. They’re never like, hey remember when you said this or hey remember when I said that. Or when they’re comforting or arguing they’re never like, hey didn’t you say this then. It’s weird they haven’t brought it up once but whatever, they talk without bringing it up. They don’t need it to talk. And its their letters. And to have this third party man be like, ahh this reminds me of what you said in Letter #15 dated December 12.. bitch shut the hell up.
