About the Person
Hello. I uh, I am bad at these things so here's the stuff I think people might want to know if they are interacting with me.
Kysis or kysis-the-bard has been my fandom related name for years upon years. I don't have access to my fanfic account anymore, but that started my fandom writing years and years ago.
He/They Transmasc Polyam Demisexual with a strong Gay leaning.
37 but feel older than dirt. If you are under 18, please do not interact. I discuss a lot of adult themes and fucked up shit.
D&D 2nd Edition is what I've got the most experience with but I'm starting to learn and pick up 5E... as far as D&D goes. I've got a lot more time put into Deadlands Classic and had a stable in person table for years. I've also played a good amount of Shadowrun and Vampire the Masquerade (which is what my current game is).
FFXIV is my current MMO, though I don't have much time to play or RP like I used to. I sank the most time into The Secret World back in the day. I've done my time in WoW and GW2 but know jack squat about them nor do I really care.
I've been drawing since I could hold a sketchbook, since my mother unit thrust one into my hands. She's a traditional artist, traditionally trained under a famous painter, and was always judgmental AF of everything I did. I am currently using my hyperfixation on BG3 to help me get over all my past issues with drawing and start enjoying it again-- also to learn how to do digital art, since I never really put in the effort to learn it before.
Writing used to be my entire life. I got my BA in it. I was working on getting my MFA when a series of horrible events led to me moving an entire state over, changing my entire career path, and uh, not writing for many, many years. I'm trying to get back into writing again. I've missed it a lot, but I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to enjoy it like I used to.
My main employment is in the medical field, but on the side I run an occult shop and craft things used in various occult practices. I didn't grow up in Christianity, nor do I ever intend to enter it, so don't bother. This does effect how I handle polytheistic fictional environments a lot.
I've spent over 30 minutes dead at this point in my life, if you combine all the times I've experienced it over the last 37 years. Honestly, the chronic migraines I have as a trophy are not nearly as bad as it could have been, but sometimes I just can't get shit done, so never expect regular updates or for me to keep on a regular schedule.
My OCs I'll be posting about the most:
Zaelis, the Dark Urge, Baldur's Gate 3. He is a Deathstalker of Bhaal, which officially in game I tend to build him as a Gloomstalker Ranger (6)/Rogue Assassin (3)/Fighter Champion (3), however I write him also as a Cleric of Bhaal.
Doctor Lazzaro Cosimo Giovanni, Vampire the Masquerade (v20), Clan Giovanni. He worked as a medical examiner in Venice for years before he was shipped off to Madrid in a powerplay by his Sire, whom he despises. He spends more time talking to the dead than he does talking to other kindred and it shows.
Astreux Voeviere de Durendaire, FFXIV. A quiet and reserved ex-inquisitor, hiding from his past rather than reconciling with what he did during the Dragonsong War.
