I am planning on doing three-four povs throughout the chapters, sorta like how the movies do but written how warrior cats follows one cat per chapter

Thinking of having Jake, Lo’ak, Quaritch, and Tamtey

Tamtey’s pov is mostly so I can show how the game would be progressing with this au, giving some sense of time

I will say now that there will be NO sotey in my au

I dislike that ship IMMENSELY

I may add a heading drawing or picture at the start of chapters in the ao3 fic

I wish more people cared about oc driven stories, whether they take place in a canon universe or in an original universe. I've been working hard for months on writing my own continuity with a large oc and canon cast and its disheartening to know that nobody will really care about it at the end of the day except for myself.

I had a thought! You could call your au something that’s a play on ‘The way of water’ they’re in the plains, right? ‘The way of winds’ or ‘the way of the west’ was what first popped into my head anytime i saw one of your posts haha

Also, also! I don’t remember if you said or not, but what ‘outcast’ does Lo’ak bond with? A zakru? Is it Pasuk… i want Pasuk to survive :(

Oh! or maybe that Stormglider that was attacking everything from i think it’s the ‘Deadly Hunt’ quest?

Me and my friend also thought of Avatar Way of Wind for the AU as well!! If three people come up with that I think that’s a good title LMAO

But for Lo’ak I was thinking of him bonding with a Zakru! There’s those wandering ones in the Heart of the Plains, while not really outcast, they’re not part of the main groups. All game events happen, so unfortunately Pasuk will not live 😔

It’s okay Pasuk and Neteyam can hang out in the spirit world.

But the stormglider is a great idea! I’m not sure if he’d bond with her, though.

I think it’d be cool if he snuck off to help Tamtey with that quest. His Zakru friend tells him about the Stormglider and he goes to inform Tamtey who is more than happy to help. And then the quest goes as it does in game.

I’ll start tagging this au with avatar way of wind so it’s easier to find for anyone who wants to look at it

Minang thought it suitable for the Sullys to get their own tent, even though most things are communal.

The kids are out socializing with new clan mates

Within the clan, I think one of the younger na’vi they’d regularly interact with is Woai

Her father has forbade her from riding Pa’li (until you do their side quest) and Lo’ak had a similar situation with his Iknimaya, since he fell off the cliff the first attempt he did.

I was thinking Tamu, Solali, and Tu’kari could also be reoccurring characters within the story

There will be no crushes between these characters and the Sully kids (no confirmed ages = no thank you, they’re probably all young adults and older than the Sully kids)

Tu’kari has a thing for Tamu and vice versa, anyway

I don’t mess with thanators much in game, but I noticed how much bigger they were than the feral thanators

Ignore how the feral is smooth, my Xbox was overheating (I’m getting a PC at the end of the month)

It makes sense that the ferals would be smaller than their wild counterparts, they weren’t given a place to thrive and are terribly unhealthy. The arm muscles of the White Moss thanator is what really made me notice bc she’s freaking jacked.
