These depictions of Bon/Kage will be VERY heavy on my own headcanons and speculation, as we don't get much info on the pre-game characters to go off of.
I have some already established ideas of Bon/Kage's relationships with other pre-game characters, but I'm fine to work around them if any other pre-game blogs come along to interact! I will be trying to keep this blog semi-neutral when it comes to shipping. (But keep in mind that this blog is self-indulgent first and foremost, and if it isn't obvious... I am biased towards Kagebon/Saiouma. I'll repent later.)
I have a good handful of lore that you can pry out of them if you so choose. Might take some chipping away at, though ~ Have fun!

Hey! Here's a scenario for you, Kage! If you were suddenly given creative control over an entire season of Danganronpa as a Mastermind, what would you you like to put in there? Talents, theming, setting, all of it.
(Let's just pretend it's like. One of those spin-off-y ones they do, so you don't have to carry anything over from previous seasons if you don't want to, themes included.)
📓 "Ah, as in... making my own Danganronpa season and getting the chance to participate in it? I- I've actually thought a lot about something like that!"
"Although you said I don't have to carry any of the canon themes over, I've integrated my own killing game idea between Danganronpa 32: Lesser Lives and Danganronpa 33: TKTOTGWCHIBOBD, just after the reveal of the protagonist's dualed consciousness and before they kick off the next season with its alternate universe plotline. It's taken me a lot of time to settle on a title for it, but I'm thinking it should be something along the lines of—"
"Oh, b- but I wouldn't want to spoil too much about it, especially since I have some pretty specific plans on how I want to reveal everything. I have it all written down in my notebook, and even a few script ideas for the trials. The only issue now is that I don't have anyone to look over them..."

i haven't had the need to make a super snappy/irritated kage sprite cause no one's exactly... got him to snap yet lmao. it's possible! but it's certainly difficult.

Hey. Kagehara, right? I heard you talking about that true crime case the other day. For someone who breathes like they're constantly running out of oxygen, you actually have decent taste in the macabre.
But seriously, hanging out with him? Ouma is a walking headache. If you're going to be a total freak, at least have some standards. Tell your little storm cloud friend to stop making so much noise before someone decides to permanently shut him up.

"Of course, it would be very hard to poison someone like Ouma. He doesn't drink anything other than soda from the vending machine and usually keeps the can on his person at all times... As for the scalpels, they keep tabs on how many there are in the cases for safety reasons; you'd have to time it very specifically during the period. The lunch tray one is also pretty unlikely, considering he almost immediately leaves the lunchroom and is especially on guard behind the school during that time..."
