So, for all our tortoise/turtle fans struggling with the muffled audio, thought I’d just transcribe what Rupert says so we can all sob together when we read the last line with the new knowledge of S06 Quinn and his vulnerabilities - 

It starts at 29:16 - 

RUPERT: I think it always makes me think of - a bit like a tortoise, where the – do you say carapace? Carapacé? How do you say the shell? [someone else: “carapace”] thank you, the carapace – it’s completely impermeable, but where it meets the articulated parts, it’s utterly vulnerable and a toothpick would ruin it. And to me it’s that. It’s somebody who’s the toughest guy you’re ever going to meet, but if you get the angle right, you’ll have him on his back with a feather. And I think that’s the thing I’ve always felt about Peter Quinn, and what interests me so much about where the writers take him, is that they allow that shell to be completely a through line, and then they just flip it on its back and you see that underbelly and it’s soft and it’s white, and it’s completely open and exposed and we go: “I thought you were this hard guy? You were ultimately the most vulnerable of them all.”
