Cedric fished for the bottles as she gestured them out, unscrewing the cap and drowning the drink – thankfully water, though he wouldn’t have opposed to anything else. “Nah, fuck that,” he answered as she suggested they’d take out, pushing back the door. He could feel the drugs kicking in the instant he stood on his own two feet. Where there should have been pain, there was a light daze instead. Sure, he might be risking fucking up his legs like this, but Cedric had risked far more prior; this was just another to add onto the risk.
“I’m going to take you on a real date, all proper and what not,” he stated, gesturing her forward. “We’re going to eat on with silverware and food on the god damn table like a real classy meal,” he stated, extending his arm forward. “Whatever you like,” he swore, gesturing them forward.
Turning a corner, Bonnie stopped at the red light and turned toward the curly haired man in her passenger seat, it was the first time she really got a good look at him and she couldn’t help but notice just how attractive he was. Sure he was rough around the edges but in todays world she was surprised who wasn’t. Being so distracted by him in the passenger seat, it took her a while to realise exactly what he was saying to her until he began gesturing to her and she snapped out of her stupor.
“What? You don’t have to do that, really.” She blushed, quickly moving off when the traffic lights turned green and pulling up in a space by the curb. Shooting Cedric an apologetic look, Bonnie reached over into the glove compartment and took out her diabetic reader, quickly piercing her finger and checking the reading on it. “Sorry if this grosses you out, I hadn’t the chance to do this yet” She apologised, bringing the finger to her lips to try and stop the bleeding while waiting for it to calculate her levels.
