ok but like shout out to all my girls with skin conditions like eczema or acne or keratosis pilaris, etc. society paints such a false picture of women as having perfectly clear and soft skin and like….that ain’t true. so many of us have bumps and scars and dryness and redness and no matter what we do it won’t go away. but yall are perfect okay like believe me i still don’t love my skin but its so Wrong that we hate ourselves so much for something so trivial. you’re beautiful okay and so is your skin i love u.

#this is smth ive had a rly big problem bc i was so convinced that i HAD to have perfect flawless skin nd i just made myself more nd more #frustrated when i could achieve that esp when a lot of girls around me didn't have the same problem so i felt rly self conscious abt it #it rly affected me bc i was so worried abt what people would say nd i was never happy #but in the past year i've gotten a lot more confident nd comfortable in my own body #nd i havent been looking at other people nd feeling sad or angry that i couldn't be like them #bc ive come to accept myself more nd to tale care of my skin in a way that works for me nd everyone around me has rly noticed the change #in my confidence nd my just general self esteem #i still have mixed feelings abt my skin but i'm in a much better place abt it now then a year or two ago #anyway this was really long but yes to everything in this post!!!!!!!!
