Some Ana tips for bulimics and binge eaters
- Aside from exercise, pick up a new hobby that’ll distract you temporarily from binging urges - If you binged, there’s probably no use in forcing yourself to throw up. Most likely, it’s too late to do anything. Don’t bother putting yourself through that for nothing. - Use laxatives. The day after eating, push out all of the food from the previous day. - Make a exercise routine. Even if you don’t binge, you still want to get thin, right? Exercise at least a hour five times a week. - Don’t push yourself too far with exercising. You can do some serious damage to your bones making you unable to exercise, therefore unable to get the perfect body that I know you want. - If you binge, don’t fast the next day. It’ll make the urges even worse. - Drink fruit flavored drinks, preferably water. This is low calorie and can temporarily calm the urges to binge eat. - Salad will become your best friend. It’s filling, you can eat a lot, and it’s low calorie. Just don’t put in high calorie items, junk food or high calorie dressing. - Get a fidget toy. Believe it or not, it actually works magic. It distracts me from binging urges. You can easily get a fidget spinner for $4 online or at the store. - Don’t buy a surplus of food. If there’s no food for you to binge on, you can’t binge. - If you’re going to binge, binge on something that’s low calorie. You don’t want to lose all that progress you already made or put yourself even more behind than you already are! - Consider not trying to starve yourself. Although it’ll make you thin, it’ll also make those urges to binge eat a lot worse! - Drink green tea. It’ll calm the urges to binge. - I realize that this is unheard of in the pro Ana community, but if you’re constantly binging and have no idea how to stop yourself, get help. This should be a last resort. If you go, don’t mention the fact that you want to be thin. Just go there to stop the binging. Then get the hell out and get the perfect body you desire! - Look at pro Ana and thinspo on a daily basis. It’ll give you the motivation to stop. Pro Ana and thinspo isn’t evil, it’s just meant to help you get that perfect thin body that you always wanted. - If you’re single, think about the perfect boy/girl. Then remind yourself that you won’t be able to get that boy/girl until you stop binging and get thin. - If you’re taken, think about your boyfriend/girlfriend. Then remind yourself that they won’t want you if you binge and get fat. - If you have kids, think about them. They’ll be ashamed that they have a mother/father whose fat and binge eats. - Remember to eat. If you don’t eat, the urges will just worsen. - Remind yourself that binging could kill you. You could tear your stomach open. It’s a slow and painful death that takes place over a period of at least eight hours. Is that what you want? - Eat some watermelon. It’s sweet and will calm food cravings. Don’t eat too much though! You’ll get fat! - Don’t make a meal plan. It jut makes you think about food more often. - Holidays are not exceptions. You’ll get into the habit of binging and you’ll just remind yourself how good binging feels. - Although pro Ana and thinspo are great things, you really shouldn’t be constantly looking at them. It makes you think about food more. - Get a job. You can’t binge if you’re at work. - Make sure you’re active during your job. A office job isn’t right. Blue collar jobs are preferable since you get exercise on the job and there’s no time to binge. - If your parents know and you live with your parents, have them restrict you from binging. Use their knowledge to your advantage. - If possible, keep temptations out of your house. It’ll help the urges to binge. - Get a pet that’s high maintenance. It limits the time you have to binge and also provides a little exercise.
