Halfway through my graduate degree, it dawned upon me that I am approaching the end of an era which mainly revolved about learning skills, studying, and a rhythm of life built around classes. In July, all of this will come to an end as I will finish my graduate degree. Then what? Nobody prepares you for life after university. It is not like you studied a practical skill and know what kind of job you will get. University does not prepare you for the labour market unless you take all their workshops. But being the idiot I am, I did not know about the workshops, or it did not fit within my schedule. Now I am left feeling like I am falling into the unknown, and it is scary as hell.
