hi I feel you should explode
me:
Happy Narumayo Day ✌️✌️✌️
they love gossiping about everythin
It’s July 4th… you know what that means?
HAPPY NARUMAYO DAY!!
they’re on vacation :)
Imagine if your irl name was actually Phoenix and all of your friends decided to just call you a boring ass name like “Nick”?
There’s an episode of Sesame Street (on Netflix! you can watch it easily!) where Elmo attends a toy-swap, where you offer up old toys you don’t play with anymore and receive someone else’s toys that are new to you. Cute!
But Elmo, after cheerfully surrendering his old toys, sees that the children who swapped toys with him are playing with his toys “wrong”! They’re imagining entirely different make believe scenarios! They’re pretending the football is a dinosaur egg instead of a rocket ship! Aaahhhhh!!!! And this is so distressing to poor Elmo that he does the unthinkable: He does swapsies-backsies and takes all his toys back!
This being Sesame Street, he learns that you can’t control how other people play pretend, but you can join in if you want to! And if you don’t want to, that’s ok, you can just play pretend your own way by yourself or with someone else who wants to play that way too. You can still be friends with people who play pretend differently than you (and aren’t being mean/harmful/etc, do not bad-faith-read this 🤨).
Anyway this is a post about fandom.
Maya May 2026 day 21~
Phoenix should have known better than to wake up late when Maya is visiting heh
Maya May 2026 day 31~
No blanket because it’s kinda warm, but Phoenix’s body heat is all she needs~
And with that, Maya May is done! Thank you so much for all the support, my friends! Until then, I’ll see yall for whatever project I come up with next (either narumayo week or Nickvember haha)
Maya May 2026 day 17~
My old high school AU that I haven’t touched since 2024!! Decided to pick it back up because why not! In this AU, Maya is older by a year :3 (I really should write some fic regarding this…)
Anyways, enjoy!
Maya May 2026 day 7~
Is she eating his cheek or kissing him? the answer is YES!!
Also, would I be me if I didn’t include narumayo? :)
your work does not belong in the age gap tag if the aforementioned gap of age is not in the double digits. five years? i have good personal friends five years younger/older than me that's nothing. there is nothing scandalous about a 2-8 year age gap. we have another word for that, it's called a "peer". a real age gap is bare minimum a decade. a real age gap is two decades if you're committed to really doing it right
Just came home from a dinner party with the friendgroup at which several people kept saying "Ask Pedro" or "Pedro will know" and I was terrified that they were referring to an AI like Claude but no, thank fuck, they were referring to a cardboard cutout of Pedro Pascal that someone left upstairs and who has been designated a kind of patron saint status in the household.
far too old to care about fandom opinions i am an adult with a *sees a take* hm. never mind actually. i am in fact so blessed to have a huge brain and correct inconsequential opinions on fictional characters. there but for the grace of god go i
commission i did a while ago of one of my fave couples!
Spending time calling out random people as "perverts" and "paedos" and "disgusting" for the type of FICTION they enjoy (i.e. IT'S NOT REAL) is genuinely the laziest and most pathetic form of moral "activism" there is.
It does absolutely nothing to address real world issues or help actual, existing people. All it does is allow one to bask in their smug, self righteous, puritanical, moral superiority.
Someone can like the darkest, most fucked up fiction imaginable. It says absolutely nothing about their real world morals.
Get an actual grip.
unfortunately with a popular ship sometimes you can see the vision and understand perfectly why it’s popular and why people are passionate about it, but then the people who like it will make it annoying anyway
