at 3am two nights ago my house burned to the ground. i woke up to the smell of plastic and to find that my neighbors side of the duplex was on fire. i only had time to run inside and get my father and cat, when i ran outside to bust in the door to get my neighbor, the doors and windows were engulfed in flame. i screamed for his name and he never came out. i have lost literally all of the things i’ve ever owned including family items, all clothing, ids, shoes, everything. these are all just things, but we are now without a home. my dear friend has started a GoFundMe to help get money so that we are able to move in to a place (deposit fees, rent fees) and then try to replace some of the things we’ve lost and help us buy work clothes and maybe cover costs of David’s funeral. if you’re unable to donate, please keep us in your thoughts and SHARE THIS LINK. thank you all so much.
