a/n: wow i reread this and nearly cried (also the song i used in the fic is Day6âČs âíŒììŒ All Aloneâ which you should go listen to now- i would link it but then tumblr would have a breakdown and iâd rather it didnt lmao)
âMr Na. Miss L/N. Detention for the both of you, now!â
Everyone knew of yours and Jaeminâs rivalry. ClichĂ© as it was; the bad boy and the good girl being arch nemeses. Everyone at school knew of it, hell, even the people at the school in the town over knew about it. It was an odd rivalry, stemmed out of nowhere from the perspective of an outsider. To them, it seemed like you had climbed the social ladder to compete with Jaemin for the top rung. Between the two of you, it was the matter of outsmarting the other one to have the upper hand. Many people were confused by your relationship with one another, you couldnât blame them.

SOMETIMES, THE AMOUNT OF HATRED YOU HAD FOR JEONG JAEHYUN AMAZED YOU.
To the average human being, Jeong Jaehyun was, in a sense, perfect. On the surface, he was everyoneâs trademark Golden Boyâgood grades, athletic, and a seemingly good personality. The last point, however, was a complete and utter lie. Simply put, Jaehyun was a wolf in sheepâs clothing, and you, unfortunately, wound up becoming his target.

SONG REC | I Like You - Day6
You would have never described your relationship with Lee Jeno as complicated. You were best friends, and you wouldâve thought nothing in the world could ever change that. You were inseparable. You had all the same friends, the same interests, similar grades, and similar aspirations. Neither of you had any interest in dating and most importantly, neither of you had ever developed feelings for the other. You were best friends, and that was it, that was the whole story. At least, thatâs what you had thought, until your senior year in high school.

Dance Class | Mark Lee
Summary: A soulmate au in which whatever you write on your skin shows up on your soulmateâs skin. Your soulmate is just as chaotically busy as you.
Note: I seriously wrote this at like 12 am - 1 am and Iâm posting this without proof reading, so itâs by no means my best work, but I hope you enjoy nonetheless.
Words: 1k
Busy, busy, busy.
Thatâs all you ever thought you would be.
From waking up at 4 am, to teaching dance classes until 9 am, heading to rehearsals from 9 in the morning to 9 at night, singing and dancing with all your might for those 12 hours, getting home to finish extra work, and still trying to make time with your friends, barely even getting to bed before 2 am.
Luckily for you, your soulmate happened to be someone who could relate to your situation. You didnât know much about him in the beginning, other than his schedule was just as busy as yours. In fact, the day you connected, his schedule materialized itself onto your arm, throwing you off your balance, setting you up to be late. When you later scrawled âWhatâs going on?â on your arm out of frustration, you didnât expect a genuine response. âSoulmates?â was written out in semi-messy letters. You spent the entirety of that night writing on any open space of skin, learning that he lived an equally chaotic and performance based lifestyle.
You learned that he performed often, usually busy dancing with groups he mentioned, 3 different groups apparently, along with writing his own music that he performed whenever he could. He even explained that when he wasnât able to sleep, heâd stay up until sunrise writing his lyrics. He was basically the cooler version of you. While you were classically trained, he was self taught in a street style of dancing.
You and Mark spent nights up late talking to each other, praying not to get ink poisoning from all the writing. One unfortunate night, you were feeling particularly exhausted, venting all your emotions onto your skin, one thing you didnât know, though, was that when tears smudge out the ink, it appears exactly that way on your soulmates arm. You fell asleep before Mark had seen, and while you slept, Mark spent the night writing encouraging messages everywhere he could reach. Saying things like âI believe in youâ and âweâll make it through together,â bringing you motivation to get up the next day, making sure to write a thorough âthank you,â over your heart for him to see.
From then on, you both sought out to always encourage each other, understanding each other in dazed exhaustion, complaining about certain dance moves
You always sort of figured youâd meet purposefully, deciding a location through writing and going, but fate had a really funny way of playing with soulmates.
You woke up one morning when out of nowhere, on your left arm was written: 7:15, dance class at studio.
He never took dance classes, it made you smile, thinking that maybe you inspired him to learn a bit more classically. You managed to write a small â?â beside the note, before moving on to get ready for the classes that you had to teach. You smiled while getting ready, knowing that Mark would be in a dance class at the same time as you were teaching.
With one last check of your left arm for a reply, you slung your bag over your shoulder to head to the studio. Going through the day in your mind, chugging down the coffee you picked up on the way, you listed out âBallet, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theaterâ along your arm besides Markâs own note.
Ballet was a class usually filled with dainty and young girls and a select few younger boys, which went on as usual, teaching them a small routine full of the more basic moves, assisting them in their early morning class. That class was quick, only 30 minutes, followed by the 45 minute tap class. These kids were older, ranging from around 12 to 15, you could teach them more advanced things and maybe even manage to get them to tap at once to music.
At 7:15, you taught hip hop. Usually this class was filled with 15 to 17 year old girls looking to learn to dance to impress their class crushes. Today was different, though. Behind a 16 year old girl who frequented the class, walked in a rather tall and handsome man you assumed to be in his 20s, despite his childlike eyes. You held back a laugh at the sight of a grown man in your class of mostly teenage girls, until your eyes trailed down to his arms, seeing the same exact writing on his arm that you spotted on yourself that very morning.
You were quiet for just a moment until you mustered up the courage to walk closer, knowing he hadnât spotted you quite yet. With a meek voice, you whispered âMark?â and no surprise, he turned around.
He looked at you, eyeing up your arms, â(y/n)?â you could swear his eyes were welling up with tears and you couldnât even blame him, you had already let a tear go rolling down your cheek. The teens around you were quick to notice the situation, some whipping out phones to film the two of you, one girl running out to find another teacher to take control of the situation.
At that point, you didnât even care. You just stayed, examining the face of your soulmate, now standing in front of you. After a few seconds of just staring, he let out a laugh, a smile gracing itself on his face and causing his nose to scrunch up in a way you could only describe as the sweetest. He was quick to grab your face in his hands and wipe away the small tears that had fallen from your eyes, immediately pulling you into a hug. You didnât hesitate for a moment to wrap your arms around him like youâd known him forever.
Mark took a moment then, pulling you so he could look at your face again, âfate really caught me this time,â ending the line by pressing a sweet kiss to your lips, forgetting every other person and cell phone in the room.

summary: taeyongâs been your best friend for a few years now, but sometimes it gets a little hard to just be his friend. youâre at university and thereâs no better time to blur that line between friends and a little bit more, to make your lives just that much more messy.Â
words: 11,724
pairing: taeyong x reader, side johnny x jaehyun
Lee Taeyong was not the fuckboy he wanted everyone to think he was. Sure, he strode around campus looking âfreshâ and âflyâ (both were exact words heâd used to describe himself to you in the past), and he flirted with just about every single person who looked even remotely interested in him. But he wasnât the stereotypical fuckboy who screws around and gets wasted every weekend of his university experience. He wasnât mean-hearted, not very interested in the parties in the dorms or the houses just off-campus, and he chose to spend most nights with you.
You met Taeyong on the first day of freshman orientation when everyone is awkward and has no idea what theyâre really doing. He was typing away on his phone, his hair hidden beneath a beanie, and his hands swamped by the sleeves of his sweater. He looked, much like you, as if he wanted to be anywhere but sitting in Lecture Hall 4, preparing to be lectured at by the group of student mentors who were still gathering at the front of the hall.
Sometimes after that day you would wonder what would have happened if you hadnât arrived late and been forced to squeeze into that seat there in the very middle of the room. What if you hadnât tripped and nearly fallen into Taeyongâs lap and drawn almost every eye in the room to you (except for his because, really, his eyes were just glued to his phone). What if when the time came to be separated into smaller groups, youâd not been stuck with Taeyong and the lanky Bigfoot creature who called himself Johnny.
Maybe then you wouldnât be guaranteed to be crammed inside their tiny dorm room every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night for the next three years.Â

School had never been something you enjoyed, but it had its perks. You got to see your friends nearly everyday, and it was a way to get out of the house. The flood of school work and stress was nearly intolerable, but after a long and lonely summer, you welcomed the chilly autumn air and the return of school with open arms.
