We actually got some rain, it was light but lasted for a while

So after I went kayaking back in May, I got ahold of an inflatable kayak for myself. Unfortunately it didn’t work out for me, I’m just too big/heavy for it.🥺 After some trading and selling, I got most of my money back and then got a inflatable stand up paddle board instead .

Today I went out to Bartlett Lake and explored for about two hours

Even though it was quite hot out (over 100° ) the water was nice and I enjoyed myself. I found the paddle board easier to maneuver and get going across the water. Will definitely be using it again soon, but definitely need an electric air pump. Inflating and deflating the board took too much energy

Very appropriate, especially for those who live in places like Phoenix, AZ

My latest read. I saw a lot of mentions of this series in my orbit and decided to give it a go. I would not have done the set up like the author did but that doesn’t change the fact that this is a very fun read. It’s nice to take a break from the classics for a bit and read something fun and silly . Reading the 2nd book in the series next, after that?

I went there to get a souvenir t-shirt and wondered into this tobacconist 

I found a shirt and smoked a cigar

I was a really neat place

@pleoavce25 even took a couple puffs but just for the photo (didn’t really smoke it)

Here I am back at home modeling the shirt for you. I was a great trip and nice to be out of the Phoenix summer heat if only for a few days.

June 22 - June 26

Lord Vader is now directing activities in the weight room at work

Demolition across the street from the main campus at work (school owns this land but area is not part of my regular patrols).

What little of things I’ve been able to watch has been interesting

Also I took advantage of a Fourth of July sale and got a new washer and dryer.

My old washer really wasn’t big enough for my king size comforter (caused some damage) and these should use less water and electricity. I’ll post my weekend adventures a little later.
