even though everybody let Hannah down, 4 people I cannot absolutely forgive, at all, are Bryce, Justin, Courtney and Mr. Porter.

Bryce because he’s an asshole, a rapist.

Justin because he enabled Bryce and then tried to make excuses for him. I do see where he’s coming from but NOTHING excuses rape.

Courtney because she’s a rape apologist and a victim shamer. Absolutely hate her.

And obviously Mr. Porter because he not only was shit at his job but was ALSO blaming the victim?? you’re a guidance counselor, the last thing you should do is assume.

am i the only one that thinks the show did an amazing job?

i mean, i love the book a lot, don’t get me wrong but:

1) the fact that Clay is actually hurting so much to hear not only all this shit but Hannah’s voice and he’s taking so long to finish the tapes is actually AMAZING.

2) the fact that we get to see how he deals with all this long-term, how he feels, how he decides to act, how he, slowly, starts to lose his shit is actually AMAZING.

3) how we get everyone's​ pov, how we learn that, even though they did horrible things and may still not even regret it, they too have a life, issues, opinions, problems is actually AMAZING.

4) how we see how Hannah’s tapes reciprocate on the people that had listened to it, that had done the things they did is actually AMAZING.

the book is a GIFT, but i think the show is too, they made it into something incredible; they respected​ the book almost entirely and i just… i’m glad we got such an amazing show.

13 Reasons Why "Thirteen Reasons Why" Could Have a Second Season

SPOILERS 1. Mr. Porter never finished listening to the tapes. 2. It seems like there will be some kind of shooting plot with Tyler. 3. Bryce’s fate isn’t clear 4. Courtney is still hiding the fact that she’s a lesbian 5. Hannah’s parents received a copy of the tapes but have not listened to it yet. 6. Clay’s parents still don’t completely know his side of the story or why he’s acting the way he is. 7. There wasn’t any overall reaction to Alex’s suicide 8. Clay’s testimony wasn’t recorded yet. 9. It’s possible that Jessica will go through with accusing Bryce of rape 10. There could be more character development of Skye. 11. It isn’t clear whether the futures of background characters like Marcus are ruined or not 12. The fate of the Baker’s drugstore isn’t clear. 13. The trial results haven’t actually come out yet.

Hey everyone. So I’m sure there’s a lot of you that know that the show Thirteen Reasons Why is now on Netflix, based off the book by Jay Asher. There are two very brutal rape scenes that were really upsetting for me to watch. I know rape is a very sensitive subject for a lot of people so I just want to put out a trigger warning. Hannah is raped in episode 12 and it shows Jessica’s rape in quite a few of the last couple of episodes. They are graphic and violent and upsetting. Please be aware while you are watching.
